Most likely your heater core is plugged. To check, get engine to operating temp and see if both heater core hoses are the same temp. Or you can remove the outlet heater hose and see if you have flow through the heater core.

You need to take it someone with an electronic diagnostic tester to see what the sensors are saying while it runs.

take it back to shop because.some of the 2.8 v6 passat had 2 cam sensors.one for right bank and one for left bank.if shop already replace them.they need to remove code from computer.

with the car running pull the blend door actuator it is located just to the right of your blower motor under the dash on the passenger side, it will be secured bu three screws, take it out and you will see a small dowel, with the fan on turn it by hand you will get heat, after you have gotten that done so you can at least be comfortable turn the temp knob fully one way or the other and look for your actuator to turn, if it doesn't check the voltage going to it if it has voltage then your actuator is bad if you don't have voltage then your switch in the dash is bad, I hope this helps I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/brock_d67526d2a834c47e

Simple questions first...bulbs are good? Canadian or us car? There are fuses on the top of the battery. Relay 173.... If you have daytime running lights, and they work, the bulbs are fine since they are same as low beams. These cars have a bit of history of doing this.

as far as i remember these vehicles had problems with the timing change stretching. depending on the miles you may be able to have vw do this replacement for free

I asked my VW friend. He said that bulb was only intended to keep the headlight area slightly lit up in the event the main light burnt out. Some sort of safety feature. He also said DRL's were not an option on his 2009 rabbit

Although PCV failure is most common on the 1.8T engines equipped with the auxiliary vacuum pump, any engine with low vacuum can cause that electric pump to run excessively - resulting in this fault code. Blue smoke is oil. If you haven't , it's time to start paying close attention to your oil level. It could be a result of wear from high mileage or it could be an internal problem, stuck or leaky valves or a bad piston ring. If it happened suddenly, it's likely mechanical, if it happened gradually it's likely mileage.

You might need to replace your headlight assembly. I would look online for a used one, it's much cheaper.

This could be any number of things, however from experience I would check ignition system and braking system for shorting out issues, it could also be a raw wire touching so do a diagnostic.
