Hello. Yes, your Chevrolet's security system will 'shut-down' the ignition system; causing your truck to start but stop instantly. The truck 'thinks' it is being 'stolen' and will 'enable' it's security system to 'hamper' stealing it. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

TPS leak - check the servo assembly or the 1-2 accumulator Also check the TPS for smooth linear response over entire range of motion Shift A & B solenoids and wiring issues ,as I stated above Wiring from PCM to Trans and Trans back to PCM Make sure 02 sensors wiring is NOT touching exhaust Clogged valves TCC Solenoid also check wiring.

Wiring diagrams show direct connection from relay load contact to pump. There is no pump control module on this model/year. Relay contact feed is hot at all times via fuse ECM B.

In the fuse box under the hood

It may be a wiring connector from front to rear wiring but......Have you checked the bulbs?Could be the brake light filaments have burnt in the bulbs.Also 4way flasher switch could be defective.

Most likely you have a bad shift solenoid. You can purchase the whole solenoid and internal wiring cheap. The job it easy, cheap, and straight forward... There are tons of "how to" videos on YouTube if you feel you need guidance. Great for references as well.

Take off the cover and inspect the blower motor. It may have sucked up some debris into the motor wheelo. If not, replace the motor.

The problem will usually be because the air diverter door actuator on the HVAC box under the dash has failed, is stuck or is not getting the required signal from your HVAC control system.

To replace the console is fairly easy BUT it is time consuming. Assume this is going to take you all day to do. Remove both front seats. They will possibly be Torx head bolts so you will need a matching socket. Don't use a standard socket as it will chew the bolt head. Disconnect the wiring under the seat for power or heat features. Once the seats are out the middle section should lift free. The dash section is bolted in place to the underside of the dash. Removal is centre first, dash second. Refitting is the other way round.

Some monitors in the computer may need 500 miles of different driving styles and speeds before they are happy and many "start from cold" driving cycles. DON'T RESET anything and DO NOT let the battery go dead or you will have to start over.

Lift it and take a closer look from under beneath, asking assistant to do a some acceleration..

The 1990's chevy trucks(all of them) had fuel pump and grounding problems: 1. Check the fuel pump ground strap next to the gas tank as it could be broken from the connector or just loose. 2. Have a fuel pressure test done on the fuel lines at the engine top. (Note: if there isn't enough fuel pressure, replace the fuel pump.)

First, Find a new dealer!! Then contact Chevrolet/GM customer service.. this should NOT continue to happen.. there is something causing this to repeatedly happen.. Your current dealer is not interested in finding the origin of the problem,,just taking your $$$$ and waiting for you to return and take more of your $$$$. Elevate this issue within GM and get a service rep involved!! You could remove the dash and remove the bulb... but a scan will show it...

Melted relay

A serious symptom of a problem with the blower motor relay is a burned or melted relay. Relays are exposed to high current loads and can sometimes get hot when they develop problems. They will be able to determine if the car will need a blower motor relay replacement, or a different repair, to bring full functionality back to your AC system.

Separate fuse for low beams a possibility. Alsto check for a bad ground or bad power connection to the bulbs.
