What would cause the headlight switch connector to melt down?
Connectors melt when the wiring is of too small gauge to handle the amperage required, and the copper becomes overheated and burns. Replace any wiring or connectors that appear... crispy with wiring of a slightly larger gauge, and replace any connectors that appear, even slightly, burned.

What can cause misfire on start up of 1993 5.2 v8 dodge dakota?
I answered this question yesterday, with a suggestion that there might be moisture condensation on some ignition components. Try a water dispersant spray (WD-40 etc). See that there is no steam from a coolant vent releasing into the engine compartment or that you have not parked over a damp/wet area, if you can, try parking the vehicle overnight with the hood open and see how it goes the next morning.
What can cause misfire on start up of 1993 5.2 Dodge Dakota?
Sounds like there could be water/moisture condensing somewhere in the ignition system. Check plug wiring and any other ignition system parts you can access. Spray these with water displacing spray and see how this works out. (WD-40 or any similar available brand of spray for this purpose) Check also that you do not have a steam leak or relief under the hood or that the vehicle stands parked over a damp area.
Why does it starts hard, sometimes won't start at all
check the fuel filter, it may be clogging up and restricting fuel flow. remove filter, crank it over and see if fuel pump is working ok. you will need a second person to check fuel flow from filter line, Good-Day!
Where is gas relay switch
No such thing on your vehicle
Only Ford Products have or ever had a
Fuel Safety Shut Off Sw & that is in case
your in an accident
How about diagnosing a failed fuel pump
How do I remove the kill switch
Kill switch? If it is the ign switch you can start the truck by hotwiring the constant power to the run circuit. This will power the relays like fuel pump etc. Then you will need to find the starter relay in the underhood fuse/relay block and jumper the power to the output circuit temporarily. The truck should crank and start. Not the prettiest solution but should bypass the issue.
How to replace crank sensor
The crank sensor will be one of two places. Either it will be at the front crank pulley/vibration damper or at the rear at the top of the transmission housing where it meets the block. After determining location all that remains is to remove the connector. This may require a small screwdriver to push out the connector lock (usually red in color) then remove like a typical squeeze connection. The rest is down to the correct socket size/wrench to remove the sensor.
