Could be the crank sensor... Possibility that the fuel pump is going out or a dirty fuel filter. There are a large range of things that could be the problem.

The bolts on top get stuck in the mount. Prying back and forth usually gets them to come out. Some times a long pry bar is need. Some times there are 3 nuts on top. If they are inline with the strut, There are 2 , if they are off set , there are 3. Been a while since I've done an older Dodge.

Check crank shaft sensor.

It is not impossible for new batteries to be at fault , check with high discharge tester, if OK there is a short circuit or something using up power such as stop lights on. to check remove the + terminal on the battery insert a amp meter current draw should be almost zero , small current draw will be from clock ECT.

Dont change things til u no cause. Fuel pump probly bad..car is old. Put key to on position and off three times..then try starting. If it gos then pump is stil good and thers a pressure leak in rail. But again its du as a maintenanc item

there must be a contact with the hot from the brake light actuator/switch and the radios power supply? or its shorting out the main bus resetting radio look for damaged contacting wires must b somewhere where brake wire & radio wires are in common.

in my code book gave me intermittent loss of cmp or cpkfor 2.0 L are you having any back firing problems ?? iif so timing belt may have jumped one tooth . just trying to help hope this gives you some other things to look at ,good luck oh look up code p1390 just found it . explains more what i was saying.

Do you mean "No Spark"??? Make Sure your Timing Belt is not broken or jumped time Then Crank Sensor Then you will probably need a scanner to go further

You need to get the engine trouble codes by performing the "keydance" or using a code reader, then start checking fuel pressure at pump and regulator. Best luck. Amclaussen.

You need to check fuel pressure carefully. This happens when tank is so full of dirt that the pump screen gets clogged. After sitting down several minutes, some of the dirt settles and the car can be restarted, but happens again. Refrain from starting to change every sensor without knowing what is the real cause, because you could be thowing money and not fixing it. Aldo check pressure regulator is functioning correctly. That points to a damaged IDLE SPEED CONTROL or "AIS"... Sometimes it gets fixed by removing and cleaning with carburetor solvent. Check electrical connector first. A large vacuum leak can be the problem too. Amclaussen.

look at the accessories fuse . It should be 15- 20 amps. The accessories fuse normally control the cig lighter, radio and anything else you run without the ignition being on

Old and tired engine. 2.7, I would assume. Charge the battery and post the codes. Changing the valve seals only keeps it from smoking at start up. Burns the oil from the cylinders. If it smoked all the time it was the piston rings. Common on the 2.7 engines. Find another car.

Joyce, you really should charge the battery first. It would be the only way you can tell us or a technician, what the status is. We can't wireless tap into your car to see what is wrong. you need the status and perhaps you even need a technician too.

get the OBD codes read as will point to the sensor/switch/circuit causing the issue, also use a fuel addative get one that covers the cat convertor as well as the valves , injectors etc ,take for a longish drive at a highish speed to get the engine at a good operating temp
