bad injector on the cylinder with a misfire possibly

you say you have fuel going to the line but not what the fuel pressure or volume is. if you have an anti-theft on the car it may have activated not allowing the car to run which could be causing the red flashing light.

Does it have the original key. Sounds like it is not the key with the security chip. My ram does the same thing with key from Walmart.

Possibly dry bushings, Brakes overly worn, bring to a repair facility

if now it won`t start it could be a spark(ignition)problem, check for spark at the plug. you should check for a code in the pcm this may help, not all codes set the check engine light. could also be a bad fuel pressure problem.

Have the fuel pump pressure checked (sounds like the fuel pump is goiing out). The fuel pressure should be 46-50 psi on the 2.0L & 2.4L engines. On the 2.0L SOHC engine fuel pressure should be from 44-55 psi.

It may be that the radiator fan is still running.

Sounds like a faulty brake light switch at the pedal. Try disconnecting it to see if the light goes off, if so get your dealer to order one in for you to replace it

with the right tools and equipment and know how 3-4 hours is about the time , without the above 1-2 days

I don't know if this will solve your problem....but I had problems with stop lights and turn signals on my 2000 Stratus and when I replaced the tail light circuit board assemblies in them.....the problems went away.

Its most likely burning itbout the exhaust caused bycworn out insides or its only leaking when your in motion most likely timing chain cover
