2002 dodge stratus wont start after changing

Could be one of several things. Either some valves got bent during the failure, you did not index the cam correctly or you left something unplugged. Do a compression test. Low overall compression tells you the cam is out of phase, no compression in one or more cylinders is likely a valve problem. If everything there is good, make sure you are getting spark and fuel.

My 2001 Dodge Statues Coupe RT.has random mis fires. I have replaced bank 1 o2 sensors but it still mis fires as I give it gas to accelerate. Your thoughts? Steve

O2 sensors won't make misfires they only monitor air in the emissions if you have a random misfire it's most likely gonna be your coil pack or a cam pos sensor the cam sensor detects the location of the cam and tell the pcm and it tells the coil to fire your are getting O2 codes cause it detects unburned fuel it the exhaust

I have a 2001 dodge stratus the front seal is leaking behind the torque converter on the transmission. I have replaced it three times but it's still leaking.

Something is causing damage to the seal. Make sure you put the seal in WET or it will burn upon initial start up. Also check the snout of the torque converter for damage. If there are any knicks or if it feels rough, you will need to polish them out or replace the converter.

I have a 01 dodge stratus the seal is leaking behind the torque converter. I've replaced it three times already

There is a bushing there also. If the torque converter isn't straight it will eat the seal every time. It is an internal bushing, the transmission has to be torn down/rebuild.. Also the torque converter can have a ridge where the seal sets. This is a converter replace.

2001 dodge stratus will the coil pack spark if the vavles are bent

if your valves are bent ,then i take it your timing belt has snapped .which means your camshaft can not turn ., so you can not get a spark at the plugs.if it was the old distributor you would have been able to check the coil with a spark plug tester the trouble is with a coil pack it is controlled by both sensors and your ECU but due to the camshaft not turning so your camshaft position sensor can not tell the ECU to fire the coil pack.

2001 dodge stratus 2.4 dohc will the coil pack spark if the valves are bent on the number 2 and 3 cylinders

If the engine cranks, and the cam and crank are close to being in time, the coils should fire. You just would not have compression on some cylinders.

What's your question? Replaced timing belt on 2001 dodge stratus 2.4 liter and still wont start

Have you checked for spark on a plug wire with the engine cranking? If no spark, the problem is in the ignition system- the ignition coils, the ignition control module, the plug wires and plugs, the crankshaft position sensor, and the PCM-all are parts of the ignition system. Don't replace without testing- it will save you money. Also check the fuel pressure at the engine, or at least verify the fuel pump is getting gas up to the engine. If you turn the key to on, not start, the fuel pump should turn on for 2 seconds to put pressure in the line and in the fuel rail where the fuel injectors are. Do you see a valve on the fuel rail, it may have a cap screwed on it. This is the test port to hook up a fuel pressure gauge and check fuel pressure. Autozone and others loan or rent fuel pressure gauges.

I have a 2001 dodge stratus. i get two codes,P0436 &P0645 replaced control panel but no change heat a/c fan only works on high. Car stumble on takeoff.

PO645 = a/c clutch relay malfunction, I would be checking the wiring to this relay for signs of heat or exposed wiring. PO436 = catalytic converter not working.
