What can i do to fix it?

You may have blown fuses or fusible links. Is the battery charged up now? Make sure of that before proceeding. Do the headlights work? If no, check Fusible link B, located at the starter solenoid-where it picks up power from the positive battery cable at the starter solenoid. Does the key switch turn on? Do the warning lights and gauges turn on with the key in on position? If no, check Fusible link A at the starter solenoid. Link A supplies power to the ignition switch. If a fusible link has blown it can be cut out and replaced. It may look burned-it may have bulges in the wire-it protects circuits just like a fuse, but has somewhat different characteristics than a fuse. Post back wtih what you have so far. Maybe I can help you more?

Why would you be working on or replacing something like that on a 27 year old vehicle Who is going to do that type work & why. Your just using hand tools & unbolting things that have to come out or be removed No step by step instructions for that I will assume your up to your ears in rust damage, to the body or axle components & are taking on a restoration project.

Vaccum lines need diagram

Most cars have the diagrams for vacuum hose routing on a sticker somewhere either on the underside of the hood or in the engine compartment somewhere. If none exists, you'll need a manual for the car to see the complete routing.

Vacume hose diagram

64510fee-4cba-434c-8e76-78dd3cbb1b83.jpgNot sure of your engien size as you didn't say so I went with the most common enegine the 3.8 liter. Again I wasn't sure of what vacuum diagram you needed as the is vacuum for emissions, air conditioning and cruise control. the picture above is for emissions for the 3.8 liter engine. Hope this was what you were needing but if you have a different engine (305 or the 3.8 turbo) you can reply back here with what diagram you needed or the correct engine. Hope this helps...

87' buick regal

I am assuming you have the 200 4R, I just replaced my tranny fluid on my 87 GN, took about 6.4 quarts. I also have an external tranny cooler and let the tranny drain for about a week. I would start with 4 quarts and start her up, dont drive anywhere. Keep adding and checking while the car warms up. Every now and then get in and shift through the gears, pausing in each one a few times, ALL GEARS. When the fluid level refisters on the dipstick, take the car around the block slowly at first then fast enough to shift into 2nd, depending on factors 3rd or 4th. Head home and leave engine running, check fluid again and adjust accordingly.
