1994 corvette
Your engine may look nice but the electronics on it absolutely don't like water. Unplug every connector and dry them out, one at a time and hope for the best. The entire system reads subtle changes in current...water will change those readings enough for the computer to get totally confused. Also, check inside the distributor cap...often water will steam off the engine and condense inside cap causing ignition system to cross-fire.

1994 corvette wont start
Dunno if it is your problem but have had this same 'died without warning' effect from nothing more than a corroded battery clamp or terminal at the starter with the same problem.
A cheap multimeter will tell you if there is any life at all and by measuring at the terminals when having someone turn the key, then doing the same at the clamps themselves will tell you quickly if it is simply failed contact at the battery.
If the battery measures ~ 12.6 volts with no load (nothing turned on) and still the same with the key turned to start, then the terminals are at fault.
Something I have never seen before happened to one of our sons just yesterday; his Optima (costly) battery lost contact INSIDE of the battery!
It measured zilch until we dropped it on the ground (on purpose) then it measured normally 12.6 VDC.
We reinstalled it and again, as soon as he attempted to start the Jeep, even the underhood light went out and didn't come back on and the battery again measured 0 volts.
ASR Service Light
There are speed sensors located at the wheels. When the car becomes wet if there is a brake at one of the leads from the sensor. It could cause a temporary short in the system causing a temporary malfunction. This should be easily diagnoised with a scanner and a search for past fault codes. Hope this helps
Radio is on but buttons
Radio is on but will not show stations and no sound from speakers. New radio receiver and relay.
Brakes
Most likely your vacumn power brake booster has failed. It is not rebuildable. You will need to buy a new one.
Corvette sarting
I have a 94 as well and had a similar problem before, the Opti spark was replaced and it starts imediatily like in less than one second, but its kinda expensive. Im no mechanic though just personal experience.
94 corvette dying while driving
almost positive its your fuel pump letting you know its time for a new one.
Could also be; control module
coil
crank sensor
battery with internal plates touching
fuel pump relay(i would change this one regardless)
Your OBD1 should have a stored code and that will probally lead to your pump or relay.
