fuel pump is in the fuel tank

try changing the ignition module ,,,,but be warned these are a bit on the pricey side ,around 1000€

Go to auto zone have them check your battery and alternater, check battery terminals make sure they are clean and tight. For the power steering check belt and check fluid level.

It sounds like fuses to me check them all out to see if not them it is a relay that is causing your problems.

Google the question... should bring up pictures and written procedure. That is where I always go first if I want to try a do it your selfer.

make sure you didnt knock off any vaccum hoses, or electrical conn.

you may have a bad injector

Check if you have sparks. 1- If there is no spark, check the coil for replacement. 2- If there is spark then there is a problem with the cold start valve. It is a normal close valve and only open during the cranking. When it is bad, it normal open the too much fuel coming in wetting all spark plugs before a combustion taking place. Good Luck.

Sounds like the vent on your gas cap is blocked.
The next time it dies, try opening the gas cap and listen for a sound like air escaping. If you hear this, it should start right back up again.

If I'm right, you just need to replace the fuel cap ($5 at any gas station or auto parts store) and you'll be good as new.

with some abs systems you have to do an intesive bleed but you need the mercedes star diagnostics machine because its a set programme.

did u try replacing the fuel filter

The pumps do run constantly and will get warm. If your car stalls I would look at the coil and wires. They are the most neglected of all tune up items on these cars because of the plastic cover on them. Also when they go bad the ECU and he ignition block on the drivers firewall can get burnt out. Both those items are worth more than the car these days.

does your car have a distributor or 2 coil packs under the manifold.
there is 2 different problems.
i think your prob is your fuel pump breaking down under load, its common, get back to me 1st with my question before u do anything.

bushings in the gear selection linkage need replaced go to autohausaz.com or buymbparts.com for parts.
