My a/c blows HOT on driver side & COLD on
unfortunately the climate control system in your car is totally electronic. the outside temperature system is related to the other problems, most likely there is a problem with the climate control computer, but it could be many things in the system that has gone haywire, there is not any thing you can do to the system with out a scan tool, you might be able to go to autozone and see if they can retrieve the trouble codes from the climate control computer. but not all autozone's can get info from Mercedes-Benz they are kind of a breed of there own, good reliable cars but very difficult to work on and Mercedes very reluctant to give any info on their computer systems to anyone other then there certified dealers.and if you are not very careful with the electronics you can do even more damage they are very sensitive to static electricity.i would not recommend trying to repair the system yourself......sorry

What is the function of the button near the auto
It stands for "Sport" and Comfort", it changes the way the transmission shifts. Read a more detailed description below.
In C, the transmission starts from a stop in 2nd gear unless the kick down switch is activated (pedal to floor from standing start). The transmission will shift at lower RPM's. This is used for everyday driving. The S mode will cause the transmission to start in 1st gear regardless of pedal position and shift at higher rpm. This button has NO effect on suspension, Mercedes have separate suspension control switches.
If this helped please rate my help.

Have a c200 KOMPRESSOR Year
is possible that this term is used in the idle air control valve is the firs thing that came to my mind since it is a valve and also an actuator. this would be mounted in the throttle body close to the accelerator linkage it looks like a small electric motor and has a connector to it it controls the air that comes in the throttle and sound like you described exactly a faulty or dirty idle air control valve or actuator. there is cases when they get dirty and get stuck on and off and a good cleaning will fix it also when they're bad but is have to be inspected to determine. i hope you find this of use and also i'll be happy to hear the outcome. thank you for your time and good luck.

The check engine light on my 2004 mercedes c320
The check engine light is letting you know that the engine computer has detected that one of its sensors is not working correctly, or that one of the engine systems is not operating properly and has stored in memory a diagnostic trouble code. The system was developed primarily to keep emissions low. The great thing about the light is that it lets you know something is amiss early on so you have plenty of time to correct it before more serious bad things happen. Most major auto parts stores will read out the stored trouble codes for free.

Where is the dip stick on a 2004 mercedes-benz
There is no dipstick fitted in the engine bay. You have to use the steering wheel button to scroll through and find the electronic dipstick. Do this with the engine cold ( unused for about an hour). It is found by using the button until you get to where speed then temp are displayed largely in the centre. Use the arrows and it scrolls through when next service is due, then it measured the oil.
