2005 Pontiac Bonneville wont start or turn over?

Great question and a very full explanation is what we love here at Fixya. The code reader has proved the issue. Now you need a mobile auto electrician with a pro grade bi-directional scan tool computer. All of those start functions come from the ECM and Sensors. There is a communication issue. https://www.google.com/search?q=mobile+auto+electrician+near+me ..

2005 Pontiac Bonneville, all of the power windows, power locks and power mirrors stopped working at the same time. Also, when you open the car door the interior lights don't come on and when you turn

The power windows, locks and mirror all work off the same fuse. Check your manual to see what one it is.

Why does my ignition module keep going out on my 2005 Bonneville?

Frequent ignition module failure can be caused from an over-voltage condition from the voltage regulator. Check your charging voltage at the battery when the vehicle is running, and it should not be higher than 14.3VDC. Also, improper jump-starting using a "booster" style jump-starter can cause an ignition module to fail. Did the failure occur after jump-starting? Try using a standard trickle-charger in the future instead of jump-starting your car from a booster, or simply use jumper cables attached to another vehicle or fully-charged battery. Be sure that the voltage at the primary side of your ignition coil is no more than 6.5VDC. If it is, replace the ignition resistor.

Air ride fuses keep blowing

Hi Randy, I'm glad to help! Randy there are 2 main reasons that fuses keep blowing when you use the system that has the problem. In your case I would say either you have a pump motor that has a dead short OR the wiring running to the motor is shorted to the frame somewhere on the vehicle. I would first unplug the motor and see if the short goes away. If the short goes away with it unplugged then check all the wiring going to the motor if you find that the wiring is good, then replace the motor. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Randy.

Transmission slips

Transmission bands are slipping and requires an trans inspection. Most trans shops will give you the inspection for free when you tell them your bands are slipping. This is a low cost minor adjustment that doesn't require removing the transmission unless further problems are discovered after the inspection. They will need to make this adjustment for a inside peak to make a proper determination.

Tansmission slips

When you say the trans fluid is fine, is it a clear reddish color? does it smell burnt? also does your check engine light come on at all? how many miles are on the car? GM usually recommends a trans fluid flush at 100k miles under normal driving conditions and at 60k miles under more severe driving conditions. it sounds like there may be an internal problem with the bands or the pressure may be low. I would recommend taking the car to GM dealer for a better diagnosis as it sounds like it will continue to slip when it gets to normal operating temperature and it will get worse in the future. another option is to add 2 bottles of Lucas trans fix (48 ounces total) to the trans fluid but you will need to pump out that much fluid if the trans fluid is already full so you don't over fill it. the lucas trans fluid additive does work pretty good unless their is serious internal damage already done. Good luck!
