It's either a vacum shift actuator, Rusty actuator cable, weak spring in side of the differential shift mechanism, TCCM (control module), switch, or vacum switch on transfer case ( start there). But all told, $980.00 in parts and $1200 in labor. Now take a deep breath as you call the tow truck to tow it to the junk yard.

Carefully pry the front plastic panel from the dash using a medium size flat screw driver and your fingers - this is a fairly large panel with cutouts for the instrument panel and dash controls, and is held to the dash by internal clips which can some effort to release. Start at the bottom and work your way around and be very careful - these panels can be fragile. Once pulled clear of the dash, you will see two screws holding the control - to replace the control, remove these and gently pull the control forward to get at the wiring and temperature control connections.

Check for power and ground to the lamps. Most likely you have lost ground, since you replaced everything else.

There isn't one. This light goes directly to the brake switch. Bulbs or wiring.

Check for 12V at the light bulb sockets. And make sure any grounds are clean and tight in the circuit.
