Blower motor on my '94
The only way to know for sure is to pull the blower motor and check the fan alignment and bearing - the fan may be hitting the case on each revolution at low speed. When you do, you will probably find a lot of debris in the cavity, especially up against the heater core (be VERY careful if there is some and you try to remove it).

Brakes are spongy and there is a hissing sound
hissing sound is from the brake booster, and you need to bleed the master cylinder first then the right rear then the left rear then the right front then the left front and then you should have a good pedal

How to replace battery cable
You have two, one + and one negative. Hot one goes from battery to starter motor, so simply disconnect and replace. I find it wise to use a larger size cable than stock to insure strong current passage. Ground usually is right on top from battery to engine bracket. Use same larger gauge wire as for +. Be careful to route everything to stay away from hot exhaust parts and to not rub steering or other moving parts.
