Most likely cause is the 'stop lamp switch'
It is a electric switch located on the brake pedal inside the car, about half way up on the brake pedal.
Pretty cheap too, I think the switch is only like $25 bucks.
2 connectors on the switch and then it turns out.
hope that helps
Fan relay should be in black box near frewall

No start, no spark
let me guessa 320. i'm assuming it is not a 420 because the h.f.m. systems worked better than the previous lh. systems. the wire harness are very brittle after about 5 years and your looking at 15 years. This h.f.m. harness was constructed from biodegradable insulation manufactured for europes version of osha. This insulation turns to dust and all you have left is barewire-which shorts to ground and cross shorts like crazy. There is a way to blink code test the vehicle and retreive codes without the engine ever have been running. i have the literature and code diagnostic charts but i think you should have a good look at the crankshaft sensor wire harness. It is held in by a zip tye in the back of the oil filter housing. follow that harness and make sure that the connecter is plugged in and that the sensor is tight. Any damage or corrosion that disrupts this sensitive signal will casue ther to be a constant voltage to your coil packs. You will not have any trigger (just like removing the points from a conventional distributer type ign.) Check your trigger circuit at the coil first. even if you have the mechanical timing wrong you should still have a trigger from the flywheel crank sensor. The camshaft sensor is used for advance and fuel injection.

1986 Mercedes 300e The air conditioner vents blow
All the blend doors and vents are controlled by vauum. If you look in the rear firewall behind the brake master cylinder you will see a vacuum check valve with lines entering the cabin of the vehicle. The yellow colored ones are for your central locking, the green for a/c system, and red for your heater/water valve, clear for your source. Try isolating your vac. systems by unplugging lines and capping them off. Any leak in either system can adversly affect another system. So isolate your leak and then you will have to test your actuaters in the leaky system. If you unplug the red line and cap it off-the water will stop entering your heater core.

No dash lights e300 1994
try your dimmer switch on the instrument cluster. that unit is just a variable resistor and they are a comman failure. by sliding your instrument cluster out you can gain access to the dimmer switch from the rear of the cluster(just be careful of your oil pressure line that attatches to the back of the oil gauge because if it is damaged it will squirt oil all over your interior when the vehicle is started. good luck

Whe i accelarate my 94 320 makes a poping sound
It's known as "pinking" and can be caused by a few things.
1, fuel grade/mixture.
2, spark plug gap/grade/dirt/leads breaking down.
3, timing out slightly
4, rotor cap damp/ old
Check them one at a time until the problem is solved.

ASD light is on in my mercedes 300E
First the sensor in the rear gearbox may be bad or corroded for sensing wheel speed. Also the engine wiring harness may be falling apart. From 1991-1995 the US made MB use biodegradable material on the wiring. When the insulation cracks you get shorts in the system. The same wires are in your EHA on the air inlet area. Check and replace as needed.

1999 Mercedes e-320 water pump
Good morning;
does this critter have a radiator fill w/cap? I've run accross som large Sotrd trucks that don't.
Well, anyway, it soesn't make sense you would need to fill the radiator via the resenoir. That is only good for short pressure relief and cook down vacuum recovery of coolant. 60/40 is the mix ratio. If it hs a resevoir it should have a radiator cap.The air in system will purge itself as it starts to circulatte cioolant. turn heater off till your system is full, then on when engine reaches operating temp. then if needed top iff coolant. Leave radiator cap off while waiting for coolant to start circulating. When thermostat opens out comes the air. Then put coolant mix in reservoir to fill line. check for leaks and all hose clamps are tight and you should be set, Good luck - Ned

Dashboard lights blinks and sometimes not visible.
There is a dashlight rheostat switch in the instrument cluster. You should see 2 buttons in the cluster. The one that resets the trip meter is also the knob you turn for dash light brightness. Turn it back and forth a few time to clean any corrosion that may be on the rheostat.
I had an old German once tell me to just stake ze knob und go dis vay und dat vay (left and right) und dis vay und dat vay until dey vork right. Try that. If you still have a problem the rheostat will have to be replaced.

Replacement of fuel pump ,filter & its location.
- Try this, I had the same problem and I thought it was the fuel pump. My car would turn over but the fuel pump would not kick on. I changed out the fuel pump relay and and still nothing. I check the wiring to the fuel pump and it was not getting any power. Eventually I ended tracing the problem down to the power surge relay which is located by the battery it had gotten moisture inside it and burnt up the coil.
