pull off rear mirror panel, pull off electric seat adjuster knobs, pull off plastic around door handles. Unbolt top of handle. Pull out light at bottom of door. Unscrew plastic stiker plate and remove. Unscrew lock knob to remove. Then your ready to wiggle and pull the panel up and off, be careful of the area around the door handle, you may even want to pry that area out before you begin.

Double check all battery connections. It sounds like when the battery was installed, perhaps one connection was not tight enough and has worked its way loose. Look also for cleanliness. Let me know.

sounds like the starter stayed engadged and was turning with the engine. try having the starter tested. cheers

weak jump leads made in china with alloy cable ,either fit a new battery or use commercial copper cables with thickness of at least half inch not including the insulation and double connection pincers ,you need to pass 200amps at 12v to start vehicle and your puny cables wouldnt even jump enough power for the side lights

This is most likely a tungsten steel slide plate that will cover lock barrel if forced to prevent the lock being drilled out ,only a diamond tipped drill will just about go through this,from experience i can honestly say their is no quick fix to this problem ,The only way is a complete steering lock ,if the barrel cannot be turned to aux position it cannot be removed ,This is not a 5 minute job either because you will have to go to mercedes and order a new lock complete ,then the only way to remove the old one is a small angle grinder because the fixing bolts have shear heads on the bolts,and you cannot get behind them to use a centre punch to knock the headless bolts out ,unless you remove the whole steering column.BIG JOB ,so i cut it off and had lot of wet rags on hand to take the sparks.Now the dealer will ask for registration document,passport,current utility bill ,if its not in your name they will not sell you a lock ,no id with photo and fingerprint same problem ,no proof of where you live the same problem.You are dealing with a mercedes dealership and this is the paperwork the factory ask for before they will let you have a new lock.They are only protecting the customer ---you.

Looks like your glow plugs might be going out.

The only place you can get that is from the dealer.

You may have a plugged catalitic converter, depending on where you live, don't know what model yours is so Would be nice to know if it has he gas or diesel engine, it could have a faulty fuel pump. EGR valve Or enve the timing so give me more information.

Tyron, Did you do the service or a shop? This sound as it need tune up when the car in stop position the RPM should be just over 1100 so the car do not stall and it is usually controlled by sensors and the main comp.. if the shop did the tune-up then take it back if not you need to test the car by going to one of the auto zone and they will lend you a computer tester you place it in your computer tester hookup I believe under the steering wheel (under the dash) and it will give you the reading and default if you have any problems with the car…they do not charge for this so it is free hoping that you will buy the parts from them . The fuse panel is under the hood on the drivers side close to the windshield. The relay center is right behind it under 8 screws and the same lid. There is also another fuse box in the trunk behind the spare tire.

You can go to autozone.com and register for free. Then you will have a full free online repair manual with illistrations and much much more

I would check the relay go to benzworld.org or peachparts.com for similar articles that could speed up your troubleshooting process.

hi, if all the fuses are ok and you have no indicator lights at all then the problem is going to be the indicator relay this is either located in the fuse box or under the dashboard it is what you hear clicking when the indicators are working ok now they put them in different places on all cars some makes its in the fuse others it under neath the dashboard usually behind the cowling covering steering coloumn if you purchase one first you will then know what you are looking for they just push in and pull out so are easy to replace.
If you ask them at the place you buy it from they should be able to give you a good idea where this is located.
It looks like a square box about the size of a match box they are different colors once you have replaced this you should have all the lights working.

Need to locate the tension nut on the right side when you stand facing the radiator. Before turn on the tension nut, you have to loose the big bolt, I think the 19mm between the steering power pump and AC compressor. If you don't lose this nut before turn on the tension nut, you will strip the thread and there is a lot of work to replace this tension nut and its shaft.
When the tension nut is release, then the belt can be easily put on.
