Ac blows hot air

I have had a similar problem quite a few years ago. You don't mention the model or year of your vehicle. It could be a relay that is on the firewall just below or behind the firewall in engine compartment in front of driver's side of the car. It took a really savvy MB mechanic an hour to locate and fix after 2 months in other shops, including an MB dealership. Mine was a 1988 560SEL that had that problem. After that was fixed, it worked perfectly for another 5 years - at which time I sold the car. I hope this helps...

Mercedes clk 320 airbag

If the airbag light is on something in the system is broken. Go to AutoZone or similar and have them scan the airbag system for codes. My guess would be a faulty seat sensor or a faulty seat belt sensor

Merc clk 1999 fault

on most cars, you need to change the neutral safety switch. this car has a neutral parking position sensor, you can find it for v6 not v8, it also fits a saab 9-3. it is the same thing, a different style. however, check the transmission fluid level and troublecodes for p07xxs. reset the code and use the transmission dipstick by dorman add lucas auto trans fluid, not stop slip to the fill line. most of the time it's not the solenoid, but the auto trans plate, overfilling the fluid can cause it to trigger a check engine light, and the fluid leaking onto it can cause it to be permanently damaged, it's more than $400 for the part. lucas works in the 722.xx transmissions, most , all, clks 99-2002, just make sure the tranny model isn't a 238. i like it better than atf 134. However, these parts are very heat sensitive. fill the trans fluid, reset the troublecodes, do a general motos drive cycle from obdii.com if it doesn't drive good after four times, change the neutral safety switch. :)

I need to check the fuse for the lighter in my car. Where would I find this fuse or is there one for the lighter.

under the hood, the fuse box on the left side rear back corner, it clips up from the front and has two catch hooks on it. the fuse is number 23 and it is a blue 15 amp ATC big blade fuse, get a variety pack for $4.99 at your local auto parts store. :) the numbers for the fuses are beside each slot.

Dead battery on 2000 clk 320 , after checking oil and plugs . first attempt to start click'd but did not turn over. Next i turned the ignition all the way off then on, it started. Next day, dead.

Well, first, the battery is not dead. You could have a poor electrical connection somewhere between the battery, starter, ignition switch, or another component of your start circuit, or possibly a failing starter solenoid, or ignition switch. Some electrical testing will be necessary to find the problem. A quick check the next time it won't crank over, is to pull the starter solenoid wire off and check for power on the wire when key is held in crank position. If power then, probably a failing starter solenoid. If no power there, then you have to diagnose the start circuit back through the ignition switch to the battery. Are all your battery and ground connections clean and tight? Starter connections? Use process of elimination, use care, and you'll find the problem.

Parking brake adjustment

Here is how I adjusted my parking brakes: Jack rear of car up and place on jackstands (safety first) Take the rear wheel off, observe how freely rotor turns while turning by hand. Align one of the lug bolt holes with the adjusting wheel inside. Mine was at alignied with one of the holes at the 2 o'clock position. Hold a flashlight into the hole to see what the tooth of the wheel inside looks like and insert a flat blade screwdriverthrough the hole and catch beetween 2 teeth.Start moving the screwdriver handle upward (tip of the screwdriver moving downward)to turn the adjusting wheel clockwise, do about 2 turns and turn the rotor to see if there is a slight resistance turning the rotors and adjust more or less depending on the resistance. You only want some slight resistance to much and it will drag all the time and wear out your parking brake pads prematurely
