Oil leak
Hi,
The cover is an access cover for a measure oil pressure. It is safe to take off the cover is the engine is off. There might be a little oil flow out, but that is normal. Mercedes has an updated seal and cover for that problem.

I have a CLK 320, recently the air conditioning
This sounds like the A/C developed a leak and the safety switch won't let the compressor engage due to low refrigerant. It's probably time to take it to a service center and have the A/C checked for leaks and refrigerant level. You don't need anything off the internet until this check is completed.

1999 clk 320 driver door makes loud clicking noise
tony i'm assuming you on about the little bar/plate about an inch wide which seems to rattle about when you open the door??? This is i suppose the check strap and it is designed to hold the door open while not letting the door go too far and become hingebound, bending the hinge and possible damaging the door panel. If it is making a clicking noise it may need a bit of lubrication as it will go over some kind of ball or ridghe to slow it down. If it is completely loose it may be catching something inside the door, possibly the window frame guide or the internal skin of the door. check the mounting bolts on the door post and in the resess on the door and tighten them up and lubricate the rod. You may need to remove internal door skin, window switches etc to get to it. what ever you do do not remove it altogether, as one day the wind may catch it and take the door right around 180 degree causing serious damage, they are not designed to stop the door completely and can stretch if the wind does catch it so check it for damage to as it could effect the door hinges later on

ML 430 gear lever sticking hard in park position.
Richard,
I will asume that you may be parking on an embankment when you encounter this problem?
When a transmission has trouble coming out of park you could have a wide variety of issues to sort out, but its always best to rule them out one at a time. Try applying the parking break when you park on any grade of incline above 10 degrees or more. The vehicle may actually be rolling after you disengage the foot brake, therfore applying a large amount of pressure on the transmission making it difficult to get it "up" out of the park possition. other wise, if te problem continues, you may need to have the connection from the shifter knob to the transmission checked by a certified transmission specialist.
hint: find a little garage somewhere that you trust and theyll probably check it for little to no cost.
GOOD LUCK!! :D

I have an oil leak from under oil filter housing
Hi,
The leak is coming from the passenger valve cover gaske. Very common on MB. The oil filter is located on the driver side front of engine. Looks like a round plastic cap, black in color.
Thanks.

Auto gear lever gets stuck in Park
Brian... i would respectfully advise you that the other site that bocon has given you is a scam.
I'm not sure if you are driving in winter conditons.... but first replace the interlock relay and see if that corrects the problem... and it should. it is indeed the interlock solenoid that will need to be replaced.
