Unfortunately the seat belt must be replaced the mechanism that control it is stuck and cannot be release.

yes you can move it to the other side of the street. Just dont run it more than a few minutes because without the belt the water pump won't turn. Just be aware that the power steering wont work either in this process so it will be difficult to steer.

Does 4x4 high work?

it may be the sensor if it has one or it may be the unit it self

I just installed an Interstate Battery Group 3 from Costco on my Chevy Tracker 2.0L 4 cyl. 4WD.It fits like a gloove, has 640CCA instead of 625CCA. Cost was U$74.90 + tax + U$15.00 core charge ( which they'll reimburse once you bring the old battery back.) 42 months warranty you can't beat it. It also had a very practical handle to drop the battery in. The only thing, the battery terminal are reversed, so you have to install the battery 180° to still have the positive (+) side on the right hand side, but it worked like a charm

go on the internet and see if there is a relearn procedure for you car, some are a real pain to deal with.

valve cover gasket would never prevent engine starting. Replace if it's leaking, but don't look at the gasket as the source of your no start problem

Maybe its time for new spark plug,,, this is an inexpensive refresh and something the mechanic will do if he starts troubleshooting the engine miss. While you are installing the new spark plugs, give your spark plug wires a CLOSE VISUAL inspection for burns, cracks, or other defects that would cause a misfire..Once you have replaced the spark plugs..checked the wires, ..and if the miss is still there, its time for a qualified professional to look at it.. they will hook it to a diagnostic machine and tell you what happening... good luck..... and no, it hasn't "slipped timing"..

Hi Mr. Bob Kendall. No , a knock sensor will not cause a car to over heat . A stuck closed thermostat , cooling fans not working , clogged cooling system , could be the gauge is reading wrong . A bad knock sensor would cause the check engine light to come on . Also would probably set a DTC - diagnostic trouble code . I just have to mention Mr Kendall , back in 1984 i got my start as a Automotive .technician at Bob kendall chevrolet in Vancouver , Washington . lol that's funny .
