Hello, my name is Ben. I own a truck exactly like yours. I changed my shocks at 46,000. If I were you, I would change them. If you drive with bad shocks it can cause the springs to wear out, which is a much harder repair. Or you can always do the " bounce test". Put your hands on the front fender and push down and let the shocks push up a couple of times and then let go. With good shocks the truck should stop bouncing when you let go.

Most of the time it will be your master cylinder not working properly or maybe the brake booster diafram has a slight leak. You will hear a hissing sound from the booster. I would also check all the vacuum hoses. Just looking them over is not enough here. You will have to take them off and inspect both ends for splitting

Are you using aftermarket additives like ptfe products? Some of those products come with a warning that it may cause gears to slip. How many miles are on your truck between transmissions? Since this isn't a common problem with Chevrolet, and this is the second time, it is hard to pinpoint. Have a transmission shop do a diagnostic.

by new do you mean new or used new. as a used new trans may have the same problem. if its new go back to the place you bought it from and see what they will do for you under warranty. did you get the original trans problem checked out at a trans shop or just assume it was the trans. it maybe time to have it checked out at a reputable trans shop.

They're located at the rear brakes. If you have drums they're on the inside. You can add one. About midway under the truck, drivers side. You will see where the front cable connects to the rear. Add a spring here going back to the rear . Mount it to the frame somewhere.

remove both driveshaft's then transfer case and wiring, then transmission, is not a hard job but if you don't know how get someone else to do it

If your AC isn't blowing out cold air, but does blow out warm air, it could be the freon level. Make sure the AC clutch is ingaged and check the AC relay in the fuse box under the hood. Double check the freon level . Smell antifreeze without seeing steam or finding a leak? Don't worry, it is a leak, it's just too small to find. If you smell the leak only when you get out of the car, then its "cap steaming". If you smell the antifreeze inside the auto, with the windows up, that's a problem with the heater core or the hoses to the heater core. Get the ac pressure test done at any local car garage,this will confirm if there is leak or the coolant/antifreeze is low.---------- Thanks.

Pull the head rest up and look at the bottom of both shafts for small holes. Put a paper clip or something a little stronger into the holes to depress the locking tabs while lifting up on the head rest at the same time.

have someone tap the starter (with broomstick or hammer or whatever you have to tap on it) while other tries to start the vehicle. If it does start and run, then you have bad starter.

Sounds like the sensor has gone faulty, not returning correct voltage, possibly gone open circuit, need to test with an ohm meter, need technical info as to what to expect.
