When i try to start

NO. The first thing you need to do is check the battery because that is probably the fault.

If you can "jump start" the car by connecting up power from another vehicle then you have a flat or failed battery.
If you are not familiar with how to do this then here is a web site you can read......

http://autorepair.about.com/od/roadsiderepairs/ss/How-To-Jump-Start-Your-Car-Using-Jumper-Cables.htm

If the battery is old it may be faulty or not hold it's charge and need to be replaced. If it is under 3 years old it may be OK and just need to be put on a charger and fully re-charged. However it can still be faulty and require replacement if it will not hold it's charge.

How do u replace the

Heater cores are almost always difficult to replace because you have to remove dash components. A repair manual will give you clues as to what really should be removed, but if you're handy and MOTIVATED (it is not a very pleasant job), just dive in and start removing items that are in the way of the heater box. It will be things like the glove compartment door and box, and the ducting in the area and numerous brackets. All of this stuff is meant to be able to be disassembled. Just keep in mind that if you have to force something or yank something out while damaging it, it means that you are not disassembling it in the right order. Tip - put the screws back in after you remove a piece so that you'll not have to guess what screws to use when assembling.

After you get access to the heater box, undu the clips and separate the halves. Unattach the hoses at the firewall, and carefully remove the core being careful not to hurt the evaporator.

This process takes a lot of patience and time. It will help to have an assistant to hand you things.

Need initial tappet clearance setting

Hi, technically speaking, you cannot get the tappet clearance setting for the FD35 online except from two sure source that i know of. One is a Auto Tech (not really certain) and the other sure one is the workshop manual of the car. (We got the tappet clearance setting for my client's VW engine 1700 T4 engine from the workshop manual which he purchase from Haynes 1-800-242-4637).
Try and get the workshop manual and you will find it there......

My nissan navar 1989

Either it's really badly installed or the tension on the chain is way too high - and the one that installed and adjusted it keeps making the same stupid mistake over and over again.

I have a nissan interstar

Well the first thing is to do a compression test, too make sure that when your belt poped no valves got bent, i think you will see that theres low or no compression in some cylinder from bent valve, if so then have the head removed and repaired, if it has compression then its not the valves, i would triple check the timing marks and make sure the correct marks are being used, you may want to do this before the test, hope this helps.
