1989 nissan maxima radio noise

Hi! The radio may not be bad but I do believe that the noise filter is faulty. You will need to replace the noise filter, it is the box connected to the radio going to the speakers. Once replaced, I believe you'll be good. Hope this helps and have a good one!

Dies when put into reverse

Hello Suzie.
From what you are describing it could be you have a cylinder that is misfiring or a weak ignition.
If your engine is a little harder to start, runs not as smooth as it is supposed to and the check engine light is on or flashing this is a good indication.
Stalling when put into gear can happen because your engine power is low with a cylinder that isn't helping it run.
This can be caused by a bad spark plug, bad ignition wire, weak ignition coil, bad fuel injector, a vacuum leak, stuck EGR valve or an internal engine problem.
Also an engine that is low on power will affect transmission shift points.
This is because you are pushing the fuel pedal farther to compensate for the lack of power. The shift points are set by throttle position.

After i replaced my cvu axel on the left front

What probably happened is that while you were pulling out or putting in the axle, there was damage to the oil seal where the axle goes in the transmission.

You will need to remove the axle again and replace the seal. The seal itself should cost only a few dollars. You can pry the old one out, then press/tap gently to get the new one in. Look very closely before you take the old one out, so you can get the new one in the exact same position.

When you re-insert the axle this time be sure that it goes in cleanly and that it does not impact or make contact with the seal.

Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

The alarm went off and now the car won't start

You must disarm the alarm to be able to start the car. Either with the transmitter or you can disarm it by unlocking the car by using the key and turning it in the drivers door to the unlock position.

WHAT SIZE WRENCHES DO I NEED TO CHANGE FRONT BRAKE

Metric - if you don't have any go buy a set - cheaper than buy one or two. Make sure the set has 12, 14, 17, and 19 - these are the most common and there is a set of craftsmen wrenches that don't include the 14.

Or you can get a crescent wrench (adjustable) - but something like this is way to go when are sale for $50
