Speedometer cable or sensor?
it should have a sensor located on the final drive housing under the car..I have a 02 dodge thats been without a speedometer for 5 years now..its a sensor..
I have a 1995 nissan altima that has major issues.
I would try changing the igniter in the distributor, or the whole distributor. Make sure there is no oil getting into it. You may need a gasket under the distributor. It seems to be common that the gasket leaks and the igniter fails.

Possible fuel pump. When they get warmed up is when they start acting up. If you can get it checked when it does this ,it would tell you for sure. These run on a very specific pressure and they go 1/2 lb under they are done.

it may be the speed sensor in the transmission. if the fuses are bad this would be the first logical step. it is located on the drivers side end of the transmission at the top this picture is the best i have they call it a revaluation sensor it is in the bottom right picture. hope this helps

Nissan Altima 1995 Brake Light swith staying on
I know this is outdated but for those with this problem which i had too, it is a rubber stopper that attaches to the brake pedel itself to keep the switch depressed on my car for there is 2 switches and there is 2 rubber stops attached to the brake pedal. this being gone will cause the brake lights to stay on all the time.
