Hose going in to the heater leakes right at the firewall.
Your hose should connect to one of the nipples for the heater core. Some times these are brass, so be careful. Look it over for corrosion build up, or even a crack. The heater core is similar to a small radiator, and is almost always very tough to get at.

Near the top of the belt is a spring-loaded belt tensioner with a pulley
attached to it. Using the proper wrench, pry it back and the tension
will relax so you will easily remove the belt. Look at how the belt
travels across the pulleys first so you know how to put the new belt on.
I hope this helps you.
Where is the fuel filter
Usually it is located on the frame rail, passenger side in front of rear wheel or back of the door. That's under the car by the way. Good luck!
Need Help Changing Ignition Lock Cylinder
I have not done a recent GM, but the past procedures was to take the layers off the column.
That starts with the center horn pad, then the steering wheel nut, the wheel.
That can be a pain if you don't have a puller.
There is also a steering lock plate that is a pain, because you need to use a pusher before you can remove a retaining circlip. There is also the directional switch, and ignition retainer.
If you simply have key problems, I suggest taking the door lock out and have a new key made for that. It should be the same as ignition. Easier.
The car starts and idles for 10 minutes then shuts
First thing would be to check fuel pressure and volumn. Rent/borrow/buy a gauge.
It requires very little fuel at idle, so a restriction would first cause one to suspect the fuel filter.
Then the pump.
Then the air mass sensor.
Odometer not recording properly
The Odometer is driven by an electric motor that is fed from the solid state circuit board. The stepper motor turns in response to the number of pulses received from the ECM.
So there isn't a lot that can fail, the motor, it's control board, or the ECM. None of that sounds promising I know, but hopefully that will give you some more info if nothing else.
