How to bypass the theft system. what color is the theft system wire
There is a good chance that you are in need of a new ignition lock cylinder. There is a small white and orange wire that runs from the lock cylinder, down the column, to a connector under the knee bolster at the base of the column. You can not jump a round this with just a wire as the chip in your key is a resistor. You will need to have a resistor installed inline. A stereo shop that installs remote start systems will be able to assist you.

Lost acceleration, steering and engine cut off. Oil light came on. What could be wrong?
Oil light came on? Yikes! That's about the worst thing that can happen to the engine. Don't try to run the engine or you will completely ruin it. Can you check the oil level or have someone else check it? Did something happen that would have caused the oil to leak out of the engine (like going over a curb and bottoming out)? Did you have someone or a shop change the oil? Maybe the oil drain plug wasn't properly replaced.
Get the proper type and quantity of oil into the engine before you try anything else. Good luck and I hope it's not too late.
How do i remove dome light cover
Look at the clear lens. You will see a small slot on one side. Use a small screw driver and push it in and pop the lens off. Then you will see the screw/s to get the backing off, if you need to go that far.
I have a 98 Chevy cavalier , it has Manuel transmission, it will only go in 3rd and 4th gear, what could be the problem
It could obviously be the tranny is gone, but you would want to make sure you have enough clutch flood and the clutch is fully engaging. I had a leak in my 98 cavalier clutch fluid, and when it got low, it would not fully engage the clutch, simply making it hard to get into gear. Its DOT3 fluid. If so try reversing a little bit and gently tiring to get into gear. I believe 1st and 2nd gear share the same gear selection fork inside the tranny. Drain fluid and look for metal.
Heater fan only blows on high speed
most likely the resister. Not very expensive part and should be easy to change out if you know where its located ( usually under the dash) You can buy a repair manual for your model at any parts store, and be sure to ask the parts guy if he knows where its located. he might just be able to save you the cost of the manual. Good luck with it.
