rear brakes lock up

the rear brakes lock up and tend to skid, especially the right rear. the entire system has been replaced, drums.shoes, backing plates.etc. stopping distance as increased . slow (long) applications do ok, but quick application of the brakes makes the ABS work thus the tires feel like they are jumping

Not wanting to be too general but at least trying to help I would suggest looking under the back end, and specifically at the rear backing plates and to the insides of the rear wheels, to see if you notice any fluids dripping. If these are drum brakes, then you could very well have either a wheel cylinder leaking brake fluid, causing the brake shoe linings to swell up, or it could be a leaking axle seal, allowing differential gear lube out, which will also cause the linings to swell, and minor braking will cause that particular side to lock up.
If this vehicle has rear disk brakes, or was just recently changed from rear drum brakes to rear disk brakes, it is possible that the proportioning valve in the brake line was not changed to match with the disk setup.
Drum brakes operate at approximately ten pounds per square inch pressure (10 PSI) whereas disk units operate at a lower pressure of about 2 PSI.
Just some things to look at. Some brake fluids have no smell, others are very distinctive in odor, and differential gear lube has a very distinct odor...not hard to miss once you've smelled it.

DRL

New information:
In my previous request for help I said that my headlights are working; however, the passenger's side high beam is not working. When I start up the car the DRL light and headlight (on the dashboard) click and then flash. The headlight light then goes out but the DRL flashes on the dashboard while I am driving. The dimmers work fine.No daytime running lights and only one high beam, head light

Most DRL's are controlled by a relay. The relay malfunctions after a while. Need to go to the dealer and purchase a DRL relay. Once you see what it looks like open hood and match it to the bad one, then replace. If you can not locate it the library has mechanical books for you make and model to look up location of the drl relay.

Clicking noise when brake is applied

When I hit my brake there is a short series of about five ticking/clicking noises that sounds like it is coming from my dash, in the area of my steering wheel. The noise sounds the same as when I hit a slick spot and apply my brakes - the ABS I guess? My entire front brake system is less than six months old and my brakes are working fine.
A good friend that knows pretty much everything about cars is stumped. He drove it and checked a few things out and cannot determine the exact problem, but does think there is a bad sensor that may be triggering off my ABS system.
HELP!!!

sounds like what is happening is one of your wheel speed sensors is dropping out when you slow down and this is triggering abs unit. it would not cut abs light on because system thinks one wheel is locking up just like when you are on ice. need to read data while driving and see what is going on when it activates.

With that i did not want to play hit and miss with changing everything so i took it to pep boys had them run a diagnostics on it. They said my O2 sensor is bad the number 2 fuel injector was bad and the map sensor ports needed cleaned .With that i took the truck home on the way home i noticed the truck was smoking whit smoke..I got it home and ran a compression test it passed so i changed both O2 sensors changed the number 2 fuel injector cleaned the fuel rail changed plugs wires oil and all filters ..After done the truck still runs the same and smokes(white smoke) took back to auto zone ran codes again this time 7 codes
P0122 (throttle position sensor)

One thing to check is the fuel pressure regulator.
If the diaphram is leaking it will cause gas to be pulled into the vacuum system causing lots of white smoke and extreme rough running.
