My trunk is not closing
It uses air PRESSURE to operate .
It would appear that there is no air pressure coming from the pump.
You can make the actuators function if you apply a small amount of pressure from air hose.-------
But if there is no switch in your Mercedes or if there is switch and its checked ok, then other possibility is faulty pump.
its probably the vacuum. You may need a new pump.
The PSE pump does all pneumatic operations of the car. locking, closing assist, trunk, & seat lumbar functions.
PSE pump is in the left rear of the trunk.
-----------
Also try removing the fuse number 9 and fuse number 10 in the trunk.wait for 1 minute then re-insert the fuses and then check.this sometimes resets the system and it works.

HI I HAVE A MB
Hello
Based on the symptoms you have described you still have a problem in the engine wiring harness from the ECM (electronic control module), when you put the car in gear this causes the engine to shift position from the torque and that is causing some circuit to open up. When you say all the diagnostics have been done what does that mean? Have you had a MB electronic system scanner hooked up and checked for the presence of fault codes in the ECM memory? has the active engine run test been done? Have you had the scanner on monitor mode to see what is going on in the system when you loose what sounds like the injectors to 4 cylinders?
I need to raise my
You may need another person to execute this one. Please see link below for the manufacturer's procedure. As far as I know cabriolet has similar procedures on closing the top across all models.

I HAVE A 2003 S500
probably not as the left hand drive is not your only difference... there is also emissions that must conform to the USA standards set by the EPA and sometimes the parts are not even available to get the vehicle to conform and if they are most times the cost of a retrofit is prohibitive. there is also the issue of how the car would perform in a crash, most cars are tested and a standard set which some foreign cars can not pass in thier native form. again parts to remedy this may or may not be available and then there is the cost of such re fitting. there also imoprtation fees and the vehicle would have to pass thru US customs. not saying it cant be done, but would you want to for example spend $50,000.00 just to get the car legal to import? this is a question best answered by the US customs and your wallet.
Got 1983 mercedes benz 500
this car is equipped with an electric cooling fan, best guess is it is not working, that is why it gets hot when idling or driving around town in stop and go traffic. but when you get out on the road it cools down because their is more air moving through the radiator. the fans should come on at around 222 degrees take a look i bet they are not coming on at all.
