sounds like the door/ window seal is broken open doors inspect rubber molding all around the doors/ windows good luck later

In reality what is happening is the electrical component inside the MAF sensor becomes contaminated by air impurities. These containments imbed themselves to the electrical component that senses the air flow causing the sensor to be slightly off, but not enough to trigger the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp). Replace the MAF sensor with a new.

If the speedo is the only thing that is not working then it has a defective stepper motor, that is the little motor that moves the needle, it can be repaired, most of the cost is removing the speedo and re-installing it, so if u can do that u will save allot of green, ask the dealer for the name and phone number of the company that fixes there speedo's, don't go through the dealer, they will 2X the repair bill, go directly to the repair station.

I have a 2002 nissan Maxima. The AC controls only blow on level 4. No air or heat blows from level 1-3. What do I need to do to repair this problem?

If your year car has one it will be inside your glove box. Either on a sticker or etched into the plastic itself.

Below I have drawn an arrow to the location of your mass airflow sensor.

check the transmission fluid level and condition

windows need to be ajustied .in the track system.

hate to tell you.. only way involves destroying door panel to get inside to find problem....

the tapping sound will either be a worn tappet or it could be a cam follower, either way try putting a can of ametech restore in it works for me

the flasher unit controls both hazards and indication you will need to remove the shroud around the steering wheel and follow the wires coming off the indicator stalk down until you find the problem there should be some majour plugs on the stearing collum check thaat these are conected and work from there

it may have jumped time

check the wire harness to the ecm... which is located under the radio... if you , like I , live in a wet / snowy climate... the water /ice from your boots melts and collects near the harness. Maybe it corroded a wire and is causing it to short?

1st thing to do is try cleaning the inside of the MAF sensor and having the ECT sensor tested, that controls cold enrichment, it does the same thing as a choke, sounds like you have a lean run issue. You might also consider getting the fuel injectors professionally cleaned, it can make a real difference.

Hi,must of the time when fans stop working is because a fuse or a fan relay is burned ,it is also posible that the fan motor also burn out,there is a temperature switch at the cilinder head that can go bad and the fan will not go on. this should do it .....

core plug gone remove gearbox to replace

The only way to fix this is to pull the cluster assembly have the speedo sent out for repair, this problem is caused by a defective circuit board.

before you splice ,you can get a harness that will just plug in to the factory harnessthis avoids any shorts or miss wiring. most dealers only need the model of vehical and what namebrand and model your and accessory is.

I just went thru this on mine... it is easiest to get to from the bottom right corner... remove the shields and it's right there... take the lower adjustment bolt out , the upper rear bolt and the upper outer bolt out , drop it down and swap wires and replace . Tip; a shorty phillips screw driver works well to allign the holes on the upper rear bolt. DO NOT tighten any of the bolts untill they are all in.
