Hi Kelly,use dot 3 or 4 for your brakes and clutch reservoir,if you have a manual transmission.I use dot 3 on my Nissan .

could be broke timming belt

If you mean the rotor inside the distributor, either the rotor screw fell out, or the distributor gear is broke, or the timing belt broke and the cams are not turning.

Go to AUTOZONE,get a bleeder kit,not much and it has instructions on it,easy to use.

on this engine generally make a damage

i have a 91 nissan max...it starts but it wont get the gears when i put it on drive it want to get it but doesnt run!..what can i do?help?asap

Hi,Look under the hood for a fuse panel. There should be a diagram on the lid that shows HeadLight Relays. If there is one for the left and right, try swapping them - WITH THE KEY OFF. If that changes the light that works, then either the dealer or an auto parts store should have the relay. It's also possible the headlight harness is bad - they can overheat and melt. Verify there is no damage to the harness wired from the headlight to the fuse panel under the hood.If you also lost the light dimmer and highbeams, you may have a short in your wiring, or the 'stalk' on the steering wheel is bad.Td

The original radio is a BOSE system and it has a buit in amp. So if you replaced the deck you need to replace the speakers all so. Don't cut the wires to hook-up the deck buy an addapter KIT. It's not just the stereo that runs though that harness the factory alarm does all so and that will cause you problems. Anyway back to the stereo you need to add an amplifier and problem sovled.

I had same problem with mine when I first got it. It's really quite a simple fix, if indeed it is the same problem. Anyway you need to jack up the front end and support it on both sides with jack stands. crawl up underneath the car and look for where your gear shifter comes down through the floor of the car. follow the linkage, and check that its nice and tight. I am telling you this from memory so sorry for the vagueness, but there are two pretty big screws holding it in place. Maybe they are lose or as it was in my case, one fell out. I replaced the screw and tightened the other and voila! worked beautifully. Hope this helps.

Two ways...#1, naturally the key. the second way this, the 1991 Maxima has a lever on the left side of the drivers side seat at floor level. Simply pull up on the lever and it should pop your trunk. Goood Luck! I hope you find this very helpful!

Check the transmission for leaks and fluid level. And fix as needed. However, seems like your transmission is slipping.

if its the ECM it will throw a trouble code causing a check engine or service engine soon light to appear on the dash. if not you most likely have a stuck or blown valve body in the transmission and its time to rebuild or replace.
