Drive line noise on 2 wd p/u....i have been hauling big loads of rock

U joints can be difficult to be replace. The difficulty depends on rust, age, and amount of pressure that has been applied on to the joints. Little lock rings will be located inside each joint. once you take these rings off you can try to tap out the joints with a ball pin hammerer. If the hammerer does not knock them out you may need to use a c clamp. but putting new joints in should not be too difficult. I hope this information helps and if it does not i am sorry. Merry Christmas!

Its not cooling

Hi David:REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (see Figures 1 and 2) Drain the cooling system. CAUTION: When draining the coolant, keep in mind that cats and dogs are attracted by ethylene glycol antifreeze, and are quite likely to drink any that is left in an uncovered container or in puddles on the ground. This will prove fatal in sufficient quantity. Always drain the coolant into a sealable container. Coolant should be reused unless it is contaminated or several years old.11_14_2011_2_02_47_pm.jpgFig. 1: Water pump assembly-Z24i and KA24E engines 11_14_2011_2_03_15_pm.jpg Fig. 2: View of the water pump assembly-VG30E engine Remove all drive belts. Unfasten the fan shroud securing bolts and remove the fan shroud assembly. Unfasten the water pump retaining bolts (note the different size bolts on the VG30i and VG30E engines), then remove the water pump and fan assembly, using care not to damage the radiator with the fan. If the fan is equipped with a fluid coupling, do not tip the fan/pump assembly on its side, as the fluid will run out. To install: Remove all traces of gasket and/or sealant from the pump-to-cover mounting surfaces. Install the water pump and tighten the M6-size mounting bolts to 3-7 ft. lbs. (4-10 Nm). Tighten the M8-size bolts to 7-12 ft. lbs. (10-16 Nm) on Z24i engines, or 12-15 ft. lbs. (16-21 Nm) on KA24E, VG30i and VG30E engines. Always use a new gasket between the pump body and its mounting. The KA24E engine uses a liquid gasket. Carefully scrape any old gasket material from the mounting surfaces, then apply a 0.079-0.118 in. (2-3mm) continuous bead of liquid gasket around the entire mounting surface. Install the fan shroud assembly. Install the drive belt and adjust the tension. Refill and bleed the cooling system Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

When parked and truck is in gear it rolls

If you are in gear, you are not parked. If you are in park, and the truck still rolls, use the parking brake and get your transmission check.

91 nissan pickup radiator transmission lines do not connect on the new radiator that went from nipple to thread.

Assuming you have the RIGHT radiator, you can adapt from the nipples to a 3/8" hose fitting(brass preferably),and cut the lines to accept a hose and clamp type connection. (use good quality hose such as low pressure power steering or fuel hose. Before I accepted this radiator, though, I'd take a look at another brand radiator or another one from a different store and be sure they gav e you the exact fit. don-ohio

Im trying to recharge my

Your 1991 will have R12 refrigerant in it unless it has been retrofitted to the newer R134a refrigerant. If it is still factory original then you will need to retrofit it to the new refrigerant, or see if you can find some R12. R12 has been discontinued years ago and if you can find it it is very expensive.

hi there
the transmission is slipping like that cause the clutches in the ****** could be going out also gears over time can chip away teeth and this also causes it to slip i would recommend going to your local mechanic and have this taken care of if it does here and there it is going out but if you fix the problem now it will more than likely take less to fix it if you keep driving it this way the whole transmission will go and will have a higher repair bill hope this answers your question have a wonderful day
