How can I bypass the security on my 95 Nissan Pathfinder. It will not start

I suggest you try one of those instant download manuals. My brother( a mechanic) buys when he can't fix some technical issue with the manual at www.reliable-store.com . A lot of mechanics actually do this. Website is very good for this. Must try it !!

Hi. I just bought a 1995 Nissan Mistral, 2.7l

sounds like the thermostat is stuck open, meaning the engine is not getting up to running temperature. would be best to change the thermostat and give the water system a good flush out. and back flush the heater core. as you don't know how long this problem has been around it can cause rust build up in the engie as flow is weaker. when topping up use a good inhibitor antifreeze/summer coolant 50/50 mix. and run for a year with this mix in and replace it. and flush again this should of then sorted the corrosion in the water system.

95 pathfinder driver side window suddenly stopped working.

It's a little confusing to understand from what you have said but I would think the issue would have to be either in a bad connection or a bad master switch. Check the fuse, just to make sure it is not blown. If I understand correctly, none of the windows work from the master switch? But will work from their own switch? Again, it's hard to understand exactly what is going on. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help.

3.0l. What is causing knocking?

If the code is p0325, it should be repaired, HOWEVER, on nissan products from 1996 to 2002, a p0325 does NOT illuminate the check-engine lamp. Knock sensor on that vehicle is for PING control not for emissions reduction. On other vehicles (say a chevy with a p0325) it WILL light the check engine lamp which is an automatic smog fail.

How do I replace the front wheel bearing on a 1995

Hub bearings comprising an inner and an outer used to be common but have now largely been superceded by a bearing assembly that contains a pair of inner races and a single double-row outer race already calibrated and with seals already fitted. Successfully replacing hub bearings of any type, if a reliable and long lasting job is required, needs skill, experience and patience and often some fairly specialised tools. I don't wish to insult you but if you have to ask how, it is clear you are lacking in at least one of those requirements. I am in favour of amateur mechanics cutting repair costs where they can but only after they have the core skills and a reasonable level of understanding of the technology. I suggest in this instance you pay a professional and learn by observing.

1995 nissan pathfinder 4DR key broke

Too much trouble to get the key that way. Use a very small drill bit in a Dremel style rotary tool to drill a hole on the end of the key. Use a paper clip to remove the broken key out of the cylinder.

It looks like the front seal and real seal on the

The Gear oil spec is GL-4 75w90 or 80w90. The GL-4 does not have an additive found in the more current GL-5 that corrodes the brass synchros... do NOT use GL-5... You may want to cut an access panel under the carpet on the drivers' side transmission tunnel next to the drivers' seat to access the upper fill hole on the transmission to keep it topped up with oil. There is no real "stop leak" other than a new seal. Swing over to www.nissanpathfinders.net and look in the garage and by model (wd21 for your 1995) for deatils and how-tos..... we are all nice guys who like to help folks out!

1995 Nissan Pathfinder Aux Reverse Light Install

yes power from a differnt source, use a relay to do the switching, that will not put any strain on the switches in the car. sounds like you drew to many AMP thru the switch and cooked it. a relay will only draw about 1/2 and amp so it will not over laod the switches, also you may want to pull plwer form battery (depending on the light you are useing) and mount a fuse holder as close to the battery for theses lights, in case the wire shorts out you will not melt you car to the ground.
