You need to lift the car up on some axle stands to make it easier, Then get a car jack and a block of wood, put the wood on top of the jack and put it under the sump on the motor, Jack it up until it is just against the sump. then loosen the bolts on the mounts.jack the engine up and carefully remove and replace the mounts one at a time.

could be coolant temp sensor

I have worked on multiple door, wiring harness's on GM's. Those blasted electric window motor windows love tojamb up. Or their window switches, (momentary contact switch) will stick in the "up" or the "down" position without your knopwledge, burning up the motors. Anyway, back to your question; I have had Multiple instances where the radio fails to operate & interior lights fail, whil I have the harness unplugged waiting on parts. Mostly on family memeber GM cars. But, It has hap0pened alot. Has there bee recent damage to the LH (passenger) door or electric motor control.????

If your car makes bubbling noise and loses fluid then replace coolant cap. It fixed mine and is cheap fix.

remove one end of the bottom hose,it doesnt have a drain plug ,they went out with the arc

Get a wiring harness connector for your 1998 GM car - THEN carefully follow each wire color on the harness. Do NOT connect anything to the GM orange wire except "Memory". Do NOT connect anthing to the harness for "Lights" or "Dash" or "DIM" - you will blow fuses. Only connect the Power, the memory and the speakers - period. Then you'll be safe.

If this is a digital, you may have a loose connection.Or the odometer cable may be loose at the tranny end, or behind the dash.

Have a diagnostics test done as this may determine the issue more effectively. You can have this done at a local auto parts dealer; they are usually free, and only take about 5 to 10 minutes.
