you need a new electrical choke, if you do not have one on the carbutor you can buy one and install it. it start the car right away at a high idle adjusting itself down to a low idle when the engine is warm. very cheap part. you will be very happy. no engine start to start your car.

The 305 code means a cylinder misfire. You could have a bad valve or a cracked cylinder head (worst case). Rent a compression tester from any auto parts store that does the tool loan program and test your compression. If ALL your cylinders are within 20% of each other, then I would check your injector pressure. I hope its something simple and cheap to repair.

The key is to find out what is causing the ECM fuse to always blow. With just the key on try and see if any codes are set in the ECM. If not, try a new ECM. If the fuse still blows, then disconnect all accessible electrical for everything, including radios, accessories, relay boxes,etc. except the ECM. If the fuse still blows, then probably something wrong with the wiring to the ECM. If it doesn't blow then start hooking up things one at a time until it blows again. Once it blows, that is your problem.

Any applicable trouble codes? To check codes, yourself, at the least, you need an obd2 code reader. Some of the national brand auto stores may check po codes for free, if you can get the vehicle down there? Do you have the spider fuel system on this vehicle? That system is noted for problems. Try checking the trans line at the radiator one of them maybe leaking or cracked. Are you seeing coolant or trans fluid on the ground.

does the engine seem to revving real fast in neutral or park?? two possible things the throttle cable may have frayed inside the sheath and is holding the throttle open , has someone been turning things under the hood on the throttle body ?? is the cable routed properly in its groove. or the coolant temp sender on the intake has faulted and is dumping extra fuel (talks to computor works like a choke for a cold engine) did this just start ?? or been a long time issue??
