hi, all trucks and cars will do this exact thing that you are talking about, this is built into the transmission so that you do not lug down the motor. first thing that it will do is drop out of (lock up) in the converter then it will drop put of (overdrive) with the more strain you put on the motor and or more gas pedal. now if this is happening to fast or soon the you have something in the transmission going bad o in need of adjustment. dave

If you can tell where noise is coming from, replace that bearing. If not, put truck up on good frame lift and run to find the noise.

you did not happen to have cut fuel lines and reconnected them wrong, just a thought

make sure you have power and ground at the ipc connector, if you do, cluster needs to be replaced. If you don't have power and ground, start looking for open wires.

change plugs, air filter if dirty, change fuel filter, check and replace spark plug boots if bad on coil over plug, to do this you have to check resistance of the boot. if has wires check plug wires.

First you have to retrieve the PCM code and check the oil transmission level hope it helps

You need special tools to do that. You can borrow them at Auto Zone. Trying to do it without those specialty tools will damage the compressor and the clutch.

You've got a short-circuit in your system. Get scaned your computer to localise failure.

use a test light and a battery. the black is ground, orange is constant and yellow is your turn on and off (ignition). then take a 9volt battery to check your speaker wires. front should be green and light green and gray and light gray. double check it has ben a while, rear is blue and light blue, a yellow and brown. you do not need any other wires in the harness unless you are using a power antenna or amp which you can use the yellow wire for ignition. double check with test light and 9volt battery. the 9volt battery will make the speaker pop noise, you then know you have a speaker when it makes that noise.

anytime you put a hub back on for the bearing always turn it tight but no crazy tight , back off 1/4 turn so you do not crush the bearing ,

Push button? There is a black thing on side of tranny. Try tapping it with hammer. Sticks sometimes if 4wd isn't used often enough.

You need to know what error code the computer is giving you, go to an Auto Parts store that will check your OBD and tell you the code 1st. It makes a difference on what repair you need.

It shouldn't. The TPS sensor is voltage based on throttle position. If the plugs are bad, you should get a separate cylinder misfire code only. If you are getting a TPS code, it is likely the TPS. Remember too, it is an electronic TPS, so there is a sensor on the accelerator pedal assembly that it talks to. Make sure that's plugged in. What you can do is with the vehicle in the on position (not running) - push the pedal all the way to the floor a few times. Also, clean out the throttle body and ensure there is no gunk preventing the throttle body from opening smoothly and all the way. Good Luck.
