Blower won't shut off
You will need a Blower motor resistor and maybe a blower motor resistor connector end. If you look under the dash on the passenger side(may need to remove smooth black cover, vents will be sticking out) you will see a connector going straight up into the blower motor resistor(7 wires/slightly in front of blower motor). Pull out the connector and check for melted terminals/wires. If no melted terminals just replace blower motor resistor with part # 89019088 per GM to revert to part before 04 in order to stop blower motor resistor relay from hanging. Let me know if i can help more.
Conld weather transmission slip in Reverse
To be honest here i do not have a lot of experiance with auto boxes as they are few and far between here in europe where its all small diesel engines and manual gearboxes but from the description it sounds like the clutch is slipping ,on all auto boxes their is a front clutch ,its a multiplate wet clutch that locks up with a oil pressure operated piston type system ,so if the clutch is worn or the piston then this will cause your problem ,now check the oil level when hot by applying the handbrake and putting in reverse with engine running and checking the oil level ,or when cold the level should be about half inch above the max without the engine running.Beware though that some vehicles do not have a dip stick for the auto box so no way of checking the level so what you do in this case is find the breather on top of the gearbox and some way or the other add a pint of dextron oil and see what happens
How do i adjust the rear parking brake on a 2004
on the 04 chevy silverado theirs cable equilizers that stable your cables of your parking brakes check to see if those arent loose or damaged in anyway if so replace if not remove the rear wheels and use a brake spoon to spin the adjuster nut on the o4 chevy their is not slots in the sides of the brake drum or the dust shield so it is a hastle trying to find if your on the adjuster or not but once you tinker with it for a while you will get the hang of it
Blower motor stays on all the time
Could be the controller or a relay. You may need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams to be able to troubleshoot it. My first guess would be a blower relay.
WIPER PROBLEM
There should be an adjustment where the linkage attached to the motor. Loosen the two nuts and slide the linkage one way or the other an eighth of an inch or so. Snug it back up and check it.
Manual transmission
check the magnet drain plug for metal bits. as there may be bearing failure. Check and replace the gear oil with the correct grade for your area. lastly the synchro spring ( bit that spins up the gear for mating speed may be worn or not have any tension left and so is not doing the job. Try slowing down the gear change action because if you are trying to do racing shifts and not depressing the clutch pedal enough then there will be problems.
Security lock problem wont turn on
The security lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterperates this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/
Blower motor
There is a single lead wire to the blower motor. Check to see if there is power at that lead. (Use an inexpensive tester from an Auto Parts store). If there IS, the motor is probably shot. If NOT, then you have either a blown fuse or a broken lead wire. Usually, the motor will make odd noise, speed up and down before it actually craps out....
Heater blower not working
The quickest way to check a blower motor is by removing the connector on the blower resistor, which is located under the passenger side of the dash. By removing the plug and inserting a jumper wire, if the motor runs you have proven the resistor is bad, if not possibly the motor is bad,
My battery goes dead after 3 days alt puts 14.6
sound like you have something left on.. i had the same thing with my truck... you think that you went all over the truck in noting left on.. but their is... my was a ground wire that went to anything so i cut the wire.. in it never went dead again
Multiple DTC's Solenoid, Torque Converter
For starters I would run a fault code check to find out what item was affected . Next if nothing was amiss I would run the fault code reader to reset the CPU and see what parts of the CPU program was now working.
