Have 2010 Silverado. battery goes dead randomly.
With a multimeter, check for parasitic loss. YOu can google how to do that and it will reveal any power losses when the vehicle is at rest. Simply a guess here, but I see the year of your vehicle and that might coincide with the failure of any alarm system backup battery, often fitted inside any alarm siren. If you do indeed have such a thing fitted to your vehicle, and if it hasn't been changed in a few years, then try disconnecting it. What often happens is the backup battery in the siren reaches the end of it's life and can no longer store electricity. It begins to draw more current from the starting battery to top itself off, but it can't top itself off any longer, so it continues until the vehicle's starter battery is drained.Anyway, that's just a guess. Do a parasitic drain test. You should be looking at no more than 0.03 amps. If much higher than this, then pull any alarm sirens off, then recheck. Then pull the stereo fuse and recheck. Keep pulling fuses until you find the one which brings the voltage down to that figure, then you've found your culprit.
Driver side blows heat , pass blow cold on ac
I would suggest you work from a factorydiagnostic manuals,I wouldn't even go to the vehiclethe first time, without info on any system or problemAll your saying is your not familar with the system & youyou can't be,you need your reference material & wiringdiagrams each & every time, so you have somewhereto start your testing
I replaced the oil pump and rod and main bearings and i still have somewhat low oil pressure
How do you know that you have Low Oil Pressure? Are you trusting the Gauge or putting an In-Line Gauge?YOUR GM GAUGE CLUSTER is known to have BAD or DEFECTIVE STEPPER MOTORS...If you put the In-line Gauge on and see that you have Good Pressure, then what you need to do is rebuild your Instrument Cluster.MAKE SURE YOU USE X27.168 Stepper Motors... The Cheaper CHINEESE STEPPER MOTORS are black and are defective. The X27.168 Stepper Motors are WHITE and will last for as long as you own the Truck.Order 6 Stepper Motors and do them ALL at the same time or you can pay someone $95-$200 to rebuild it for you...
