2004 chevy 2500 truck, blower motor stays on high, can not adjust speed or turn off. Blower stays on even when truck is shut off and key removed. Only way to shut off is to disconnect battery or remove fuse.
Thanks for any info.
You will need a Blower motor resistor and maybe a blower motor resistor connector end. If you look under the dash on the passenger side(may need to remove smooth black cover, vents will be sticking out) you will see a connector going straight up into the blower motor resistor(7 wires/slightly in front of blower motor). Pull out the connector and check for melted terminals/wires. If no melted terminals just replace blower motor resistor with part # 89019088 per GM to revert to part before 04 in order to stop blower motor resistor relay from hanging. Let me know if i can help more.

2004 silverado 5.3 liter oil pressure ranges between 20 and 40 what could cause this problem
The pressure to be most concerned with is the reading in gear at idle with engine warmed up...Low end really should not be below 20. If pressure wanders, change the sending unit and check actual pressure with a mechanical gauge if necessary. The age and quality of your oil, as well as temperature all play a part in pressure, as well as internal wear from time & miles of use. If pressure changes with rpm, that is normal. 40psi is good while driving.
need more info just ask.

on a 2004 chevy silverado where is the ground wire for the fuel pump?
They run that wire from the pump all the way to the front of the truck. If you're having a ground problem, cut it by the pump and run a new wire to the frame. If you're looking for the wire from the pump. Pull the harness that leads to the pump. Open it up. It is the black wire.

I have a 2004 Silverado that does'nt have any climate control whatsoever...the blower does'nt operate and you can't hear the doors operating when you move the mode knob to redirect the air. The A/C button and recirculate button still illuminate when you push them however. I have power at the fuse under the hood for the HVAC but the fuses in the dashboard on the driver's side for the HVAC don't have any power...they were replaced just to be sure but still no power there...any ideas? Thanks!
If it is as you say, I should check the body harnesses.
When your Silverado was assembled at the factory, the wire harnesses began and ended at the firewall, among many other places.
Each of those locations had a male & a female plug or socket.
If the Silverado ever had a stress in the area of the harness plugs, they could be loose.
Could also get corrosion if there was road salt if you live up north. A car wreck could cause this, or if someone removed and installed the engine.
Lots of reasons.
God bless your efforts.

DIC blank, Gauges inoperative. All these conditions happened suddenly and at same time. Truck still runs fine, just no info.
make sure you have power and ground at the ipc connector, if you do, cluster needs to be replaced. If you don't have power and ground, start looking for open wires.
