Safety systems can be surprising...my first inspection would be to check the fluid level in your brake master cylinder...the warning light may not be working...Hope this helps.

Noise is caused by brakes wearing. Either brakes shoes are worn, disc is out of round. Sound you hear is metal rubbing on metal, never a good sound. Contact auto repair or brake shop for repairs immediately

Are you getting at least 12 volts to the harness on the pump and also is it grounded good? Have you checked the fuse for the fuel pump and the fuel pump relay? Is the ASD relay coming on when you turn the switch to run position? Several more things to check to solve your no start condition.

Not likely. It is also not likely that the regulator is in the fuel pump assembly. Some people mistake the check valve in the pump as a regulator. Also, some vehicles have a pump module which includes the fuel gauge sensor and that can be mistaken as the regulator by some DIYers. The caravan uses a return-loop fuel system. This means that the pump is cycling fuel from the tank to the fuel rail on one line and the fuel that is not needed at the injectors flows back through another line to the fuel tank. This is done to prevent the pump from building up too much pressure and allows the fuel flowing through the pump to keep it cool. Because of the looping system, there needs to be a flow restrictor (aka regulator) at the fuel rail to provide a constant pressure source for the injectors. The regulator is normally at the end of the rail and will have a vacuum line attached. Pull the vacuum line, place a rag at the vacuum port, and crank the engine. There should be no fuel coming out the port. If any fuel comes out of the vacuum port, the regulator is faulty. The regulator could still be faulty even if there is no fuel from the port, but fuel leakage is an easy way to be sure. If the regulator is not providing proper restriction to maintain pressure, then the fuel simply flows in a circular loop from and back to the fuel tank without enough pressure to allow the injector to do their thing,

hi it could be air lock in the caliper or you have a bad caliper you can try bleeding the brakes or try another caliper. hope this helps Ron

The filter should be mounted in front of the gas tank under the van.

sounds like fuel pump went out.

code 8 could spesify the type of license needed to drive the car, code 8 would be light vehicles.

are you sure it had one? yes, then the chimmer module is bad, or the wire to it is cut. does it chim for other things, like seat belts. that be a big clue.

Have you tried putting a couple gallons of gas in? I had a problem where it was doing that same thing and it was just that there wasnt enough gas for the pump to pick up. If you've tried this already, then i would say most likely it's the fuel pump. I suggest towing it to a shop rather than trying to do the fuel pump yourself. I did mine myself and it was not worth it. Too difficult and took too much time.

My guess would be a sticking/faulty starter relay and that's where I would start.

Obviously a good size draw on battery. Are you experienced in tracking it down? Any aftermarket items installed since battery drain started, such as lights, stereo etc?
