Has hot air coming from under dash with nothing on

Harold, one of the vent door actuators is probably stuck holding heater doors open, or the duct work may have come apart under dash. "I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. Check out some of my other posts if you need more tips and info."

I have a 95 gmc jimmy sle 4 wheel drive. The truck wont go into park i put a new neutral safety switch in and still same problem. Someone said asjust it.so where and how do i adjust it???

Check all shift linkage under truck for loose bushings. Check also for bad transmission mount, engine mounts, bent linkage, etc. Also can be a problem inside transmission, often able to be fixed in the car by removing the trans lower pan to make repairs.

Have someone crank it for you while you bang on the bottom of fuel tank. If it starts, replace pump.

I have a 1995 gmc jimmy stereo sound doesnt work

Are you sure you are listening to a stereo program (e.g. FM radio or CD/Tape)? Have you tried adjusting the fade and balance controls? If sound is not coming out of all speakers, you will probably have to replace the radio.

I need to replace my transmission cooler lines on my 1995 GMC Jimmy is there just the bolts that hold them to the transmission and radiator or do I have to lift up on the motor or is there clamps ?

All of the transmission fluid can leak out. The cooling lines are there to cool the tranny fluid, and it is circulated through the radiator by means of a pump. If a line is leaking, the pump will just empty the fluid out through the leak. The lines are usually just held in place by clamps to keep them from chafing through against the body or chassis, so replacing them should be quite an easy job. Just undo the bolts that hold them to the box and the radiator, undo however many clamps hold them in place, and reverse the procedure with new pipes.

Will a 1995 jimmy 4.3 start if the feed fuel line and return line are switched.

The lines are different sizes and if you did... it would dead-head the pump and not start! If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/eric_5179db65226039e7

Why won't my 1995 gmc jimmy go over 35 like it doesn't want to shift

Could be bad 3-4 shift solenoid. Drop trans pan to inspect. These solenoids often come apart and are easily seen to be bad.

Gasoline in crankcase

Very bad issue, and could be dangerous. Most likely cause bad fuel injector stuck open. This can ruin engine bearing so drain oil and replace while also fixing leaking injector.

I have a 1995 GMC Jimmy that won't start.

It sounds like a faulty fuel pressure regulator. When you turn the key to the on position the fuel pump starts for an instant to build pressure in the fuel line. If the pressure regulator has allowed too much leakage since the last start then the fuel pump does not have enough time to prime the line. The fuel pressure will still measure ok when the car is running because the leakage is very low. Try turning the key off and on a few times prior to starting and see if the extra pump priming steps help. Also check the vacuum line to the regulator because it needs vacuum to work correctly.

On my 1995 Gmc Jimmy i have the indash switch which i bought from a dealer. I checked accuator and cable. Cable was stuck but i freed it up. I had four hi working for about a day now it blinks and goe

Still sounds like a vacuum problem - not enough vacuum to hold the solenoid in. You could try directly applying a good vacuum source (either connecting to a good line on the truck or using a vacuum pump) to see if the solenoid is working properly. If that works, you will need to recheck ALL vacuum lines. You could also check for DTCs to see if it might be a computer problem.
