Hard to start keeps cranking then fires over and engine flutters but still doesnt start till 2 more times then when you take off you give it gas and it bougs down and no power pops then after it warm

check for codes, if none then check fuel pressure and volume with a gage. pressure should be in the area of 35lbs unless this is throttle body which is about 15/18lbs pressure, if this is a vortec motor the pressure is 55lbs. the volume should be about 1 liter in 15 seconds. the vortec injection systems have a problem with the spider fuel lines that go to each injector cracking/breaking causing no fuel supply and leaking into the intake manifold and not going into the cylinders.

What wrong

It sounds like you have multiple problems. The p1345 code...Crankshaft Position-Camshaft Position Correlation, I just dealt with this one. I had the crank sensor replaced but it didn't fix my problem, the timing chain didn't fix it either. It ended up being distributor. I had just had it replaced but the 'non licensed mechanic' replaced it like you would a mechanical distributor. The problem, our distributors are electronic and require the distributor to be connected to a computer to sinc the system together. I had such loss of power, it was irritating. Cost was about $365 through a licensed mechanic. The overheating could be a number of things, start cheap with the thermostat and check your hoses. If the radiator hasn't been flushed in awhile it maybe clogged or it could be the water pump. I just replaced my water pump and radiator.

How come while driving my transmission sometime jerks?

interesting, ricky ? could b anything. fuel filter needs changed, the fuel we use today is garbage, ethanol is bad for our older engines. add some of that new dirt to tank, something360. ??? also, maybe a wire connection is loose., or bad spark plug wires? something is missing its continuity , making the engine miss, not your transmission, u hope ? start with checking your battery conn., clean, tight, etc., replace plug wires, change spark plugs, maybe ? but your plug wires could b the problem. ??? think about it, engine starts ok, its when its running does the problem come up. you have fuel, you need spark, you also need clean air .......... change air filter....... pcv valve......egr valve ?? could b sticking ......you treat yourself good, yes? treat your engine good...whens last time the transmission fluid and filter was changed ??? that could also cause a miss, a surge......yes? i hope this helps you ricky, just use common sence, it always serves me well, good luck, ken

It seems like the transmission jerks while operating at a steady speed.

Go to the transmission cable where is connected to the throttle body, open the throttle fully by hand, depress the button that you can reach with your finger that's inside the cable connection and cable will reset with a "pop" when it goes to position. The cable will reset itself while you drive and should solve this actioit it is doing.Computer takes care of all else with shift and over-drive and the proper cable setting is done this way from factory.

it sounds like timing is out to me , another cause you may have could be burned inlet valve .these are things I would check first.
