Your going to have check the clip inside the transaxle sometimes they will pop off its the same kind of clip thats on the cable at the actuator . You can remove the five bolts on the side of the transaxle with out looseing oil and there will be enough room to get at the clip you may want to rebend the clip so it holds better. However you can not buy the clip with out the cable so keep that in mind.

I have a 2000 GMC

Probably the blend door not actuating. I do not have the manual on where your door actuator is. It's usually right of center under the dash. Look under there and see if you can see anything trying to move when you change the temperature setting. Also, if you hear a clicking noise, that would be the actuator stripping it's gears. If youy can find the actuator, take it off and see if you can manually rotate the door hinge. If yes, replace the actuator. If not, you will have to remove the heater box to find out why the door is jammed. The actuator looks like this:

What tools are needed to lower a fuel tank on a

I would start at the begining and get a manuel for the truck as the first tool. ( $18.00 at any AutoZone).
I would then suggest a 9/16 socket on a long (20") extention and a good sized ratchet to torque those nuts off easily that hold the straps up...
After the tank is down the fuel sending unit / pump is easy as it is all plastic fixtures and fasteners...
replace with new straps and bolts...

P0300 code problems

I had a similar problem, it turned out to be the fuel filter. Since then I also run Sea Foam Engine Treatment every 2nd or 3rd oil change, half in a full tank of gas and half in the crank case. The only time I've had the problem since is when I've forgotten to add the Sea Foam when I should.
