If no ODBII faults are present, the only sensors that are subject to physical wear are the TPS(throttle position sensor) and the 02 sensor(oxygen sensor). These 2 sensors are relatively cheap and should be replaced due to age(2000). To maintain optimum performance, I do 3 things, every 30,000 miles. 1) Change the Air Filter. 2) Replace Fuel Filter and 3) Add a can of B&G44K to a full tank of fuel. The B&G is the best on the market and will condition your fuel pump and injectors. It is available only through dealerships(11.00 a can at Toyota) and should not be substituted. These 3 things are your path to cheap performance and fuel economy

you need a puller

if the abs light is on then you have a code in the system that needs to be checked and repaired. it could be a bad wheel sensor, poor connection, broken wire, dirt clogging the sensor gap.

There are 2 hose connection on the EVAP canister, One come from the fuel tank to the inlet port on the canister. The other goes from the outlet port to the intake manifold vacuum port.

can you turn the motor over by hand to see if motor is not locked up, if you can check starter,I also had this problem with my truck after installing a newer motor, had to change the ecm [computer] because it wasn't compatible, with the newer motor, hope this helps,Hoss

Look up check for clogged cat on youtube. Could be a coil braking down.. could be a egr problem.. could be IGN Module.. DO not replace these things.. there are tests that can be run.. Orellys auto parts can test them for you.. If the "bucking" is ign related it should set a code for engine missfire. A long shhot is grounds for the fuel injectors..each injector has 2 wires.. one power from the computer and one ground.. there usually grounded somewhere on the intake manifold or firewall.

It sounds as though the solenoid has gone bad and needs to be replaced. If you have recently went off road ot may have gotten dirty. Sometimes cleaning it will work but usually will need to be replaced. This happened to a friend of mine after off roading and try to cross a creek that was deeper than he expected
