Water in chassis from rain
Water could be in the sill sections. There are usually several drains in every door and box section but the sill drains tend to be small and easily blocked by factory applied sealer as much as mud and dirt.
Sometimes a drain has to be "modified" and sometimes a new temporary or permanent drain must be produced.
The water location might be pinpointed by jacking the vehicle in certain ways while stationary.

Check the condition of the oil and consider having it changed as this may be the primary reason for the problem. Run fault codes to check for faulty TCM unit.. The engine doesn't need to be at operating temperature and neither does the transmission oil but old dirty oil will slow down the operation of the selector valves and solenoid/servos in the transmission until the viscosity gets low enough to flow freely.
What engine oil is recommended

Sounds like both dim filaments are broken.
But before you go off and buy a new headlight, try removing the headlight and run a positive lead to each side of the hi and low connectors. Negative is the center pin, like this -_- if dim works with a battery, then you need to replace your dimmer switch. If not, its the headlight itself.
Condensation in trunk
Check the weatherstripping around the trunk opening and the adjustment of the trunklid.
