We cleaned the sensor wit electrical cleaner but
look for a fitting on the fuel rail. Turn on the ignition and depress the valve like a tire valve. You should get fuel pumping out of it,no air. Then let the valve close and try to start it after a minute or so so it can build pressure. _Ned_

you never use tape on a presurized system. Any cooling system containing a thermostat build pressure. tape will not last long. A new hose is the only solution.

You must have a serious vacuum leak under your hood somewhere. Use a stethoscope, or a lenght of vacuum line held to your ear, and wiggle all vacuum lines around while listening for a hissing.

Turn signals not working on
What I have found is that it is the Hazzard Switch (the button with the red triangle on it) I have seen recalls but not for the 2002 model. One fix is to place a piece of paper (some what thick) inbetween the hazard button and the AC vent, so that you are placing pressure toward the hazzard swith.

Installing radio in 85 mercedes-benz
there is no amplifier. you just need to find the memory wire that is hot all the time and the 2 wires that are hot with the key on. One is for radio operation and the other is for antenna operation. The speaker power is supplied through the fader switch in the center console and the switch is powered by the head unit. Just hook up your circuit 30 and your 2 circuit 15 with a ground and run you speaker wires to the head unit or if you are installing an amp from the wires from the fader switch. That switch can be popped out with a flat blade screw driver, Hopefully i have been helpful

The starters on the Diesels are pretty heavy duty so unless the bolts or a wire is coming loose I would rule out "going bad already" Other issue would be if you put in a used one 3 weeks ago.
Take note how the ignition feels when you turn the key, if you wiggle it and turn it slowly just right does it help ? The contacts in the back of the switch may be wearing out.
I hope this helps
