since the fuses are ok i would try the servo this is the piece that looks like two face. it has a solid back on one side and a rubber front on the other it should be around your master cylinder. check to make sure that the wires arent frayed or have come loose.

The passenger door won't close correctly and when I do get it closed the light underneath the desk by the floor and the light on the door wont go until about 20 or 30 minutes later

If you lift the door while closing does it close better? can You move the back of the door up and down easily? If so ,your hinge bushings are worn and need replacing. The lights aren't going out because the door is never closing properly.

Air in the fuel line. Take one small wire off the starter relay and turn and hold the key in the start position for a while. Listen for the fuel pump. It will run fast for a second then slow down. When it does, put the wire back on the starter relay and crank the engine.

1994 crown victoria engine races

Problem with idle speed. The idle is controlled by the pcm (engine computer) through the operation of the Idle Air Control valve or motor. But several other sensors are also at work, like the throttle position sensor, the coolant temperature sensor, the MAP sensor or the Mass Air Flow sensor. The computer monitors all engine conditions to optimize performance and driveability-this includes keeping idle speed correct. Would probably help you if you could see what all those sensors are telling the pcm-so you need a scanner capable of giving live stream data. And don't forget, your '94 is OBD-1, not OBD-II like all cars since 1996 on have. A garage should have such capable scanners, but they are kind of high end, not your typical cheap code scanner.

Negative voltage at tail lights

Thanks Syntax Error for letting us know you figured out the wiring harness was wired incorrectly. It is always a good idea to look up the color wiring standard for the socket and to check the pin positions and what functions . Sometimes trailers can be wired incorrectly also ? I wired the licence plate bulb to my brown wire by mistake and this is the brake wire . Took a while for me to figure that one out !

Are the front (wheel) bearings sealed?

Front wheel bearings on larger older rear wheel drive cars are very rarely sealed. Repacking the bearings is a regular maintenance procedure. I've checked a few youtube videos and here's a Good one that describes the process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BBwu2c1rLA Cheers

Blue smoke coming from tailpipe

If it is only occurring at start-up, you may only have some leaky valve seals. This is a problem that can wait a while for repairs, until other internal engine work is needed. Just watch the oil level. If it is a constant thing, and you are seeing a relatively unusual oil consumption, then you are most likely seeing oil burning from worn piston rings and/or cylinder walls. If it gets bad enough, an engine rebuild is in order.

Does stop smoke really work for engine

It might, for a while. Unfortunately, these are temporary measures that are not repairs, but are cover-ups for the more serious issue that hasn't been addressed. In some cases, these products can actually do more harm than good, as they are designed to plug up leaks from small gaps. Sometimes they plug the wrong gaps and cause other problems. The real solution is to properly repair the problem. If that is not feasible or you are trying to nurse a dying horse a short while longer, than weight the benefits versus the risks and roll the dice, and hope for a good result. I, personally, would not use such products in my own vehicles.

I have 2 codes I get on my 1994 crown victoria. 998 and 122. I changed the TPS but I still get the code. As for the 998 I have no idea.

122 is TP low (possibly grounded or open circuit) - TPS that suggested it's not really the sensor itself is bad, but a wiring problem! gotta trace and make sure the ground circuit and or wiring to that sensor is not broken as for the other 3 digit code, no idea as well. reset the ecu/ecm and read the flashes again Ford OBD Trouble Codes

I changed the mass air intake valve TWICE on my 1994 Crown Vic. Whenever I plug it in, the car stalls. When I unplug it, the car hesitates. What is the problem?

1. download torque pro (free app) & purchase the iSaddle Super Mini ELM327 V1.5 OBD2 OBD-II Bluetooth CAN-BUS Auto Diagnostic Tool on amazon for $15 delivered. You will need it to get diagnostic info and codes. Cheaper and better than any OBD you can buy in the store and works from the app on you phone and communicates by bluetooth. You can pull and record real time info while driving. 2. join a crown vic owner forum for more specific info.
