If all else fails, start at the center and use criss-cross pattern working from center out. Be sure if these are one time use bolts to replace them, and find correct torque specs from shop manual or dealer.

Before you change your fuel pump or fuel rail pressure or the sensors there are five things you will have to check first....first the inertia switch second if you have had the fuel filter change third the fuses fourth the sensors if they are bad or have been wet and the fifth the fuel pump pressure...

Stick all the bolts in and run them down snug. Start at the center bolt and torque it half spec. Then do the same with the rest in a circle from center to the outside. Then torque them to full spec from center to outside in a circle. This is normal procedure if the sequence is not available. You could always google it if you don't trust this old timers suggestion.

Turn your car on and while it's running pull the positive terminal off if the car shuts off then your alternator is bad.

You have several. All are down by the starter.

Replace the drivers side latch. It on the door jam. You have to remove the drivers side panel to get it out. Look for screws behind plastic plugs. Around the door handle and the arm rest. Sometimes around the perimeter of the door. then the panel will pop off. pop off the plastic mounts from the rods(look at them, you'll see how they come off). Three screws and two electrical plugs on the jam and pull the latch out

My 05 1.6 petrol Ghia is showing Engine System Fault. I parked it at home the other week and it wouldn't turn over. Have been out to check relays etc, changes coil pack, plugs and ht leads and now it doesn't do anything when trying to turn the engine over. Any advice would be helpful because I'm not mechanically/ electrically minded so haven't a clue. It had a new fuel pump fitted in April so I assume I can discount that?

voltage regulator should connect to the battery directly... possibly through the relay panel... If you have no direct battery power to the V.R. I would suspect you have a bad connect from the battery to that relay panel or in the relay panel itself

Try jumping it off and go from there your electrical system could just need a jumpstart.

There are special tools to do this without marring the plastic but in the all plastic dash, the trim pieces just press on and pull off.

You are missing something....like a bolt you can't see. Count the number of bolt holes in the new pump and make sure you have removed that many bolts.

On the thermostat housing which is located on the back side of the cylinder head above the transmission bell housing.

replace globe should be a t5 lwedge light globe

Check fuel pressure..maybe fuel filter

Fuel filter possibly..check for fuel pressure and go from there

If you haven't already ruined the transmission by using the car,have a shop or dealer diagnose all it's problems
