i need a diagram of a proportioning valve

i need a diagram of a proportioning valve that goes to the master cyclinder, i can't remember how to hook the lines back up to it. thanks mike

if it has a mount it should line up the line unless the lines have been bent around out of place if it doesnt mount ,,,most of the lines if not all should be differnt sizes

GMC Sonoma SLE 4.3L 1991- Coolant Temp Gauge Not reading

'91 GMC Sonoma SLE 4.3L
My engine temp gauge is not working. Itried replacing the coolant temp sensor to no avail. I'm trying todetermine if The engine is cooling properly or if its only a short inthe gauge itself.
symptoms (These may or may not apply to this)

1) Fan running from start-up
2) HVAC-Heater does not blow heat on heater setting but hot air does come through when vent setting is on hot air.
3) No bearing noise or visible leaking from water pump

there are 2 coolant sensors one for gauge and one for ecm

Firing order 1-6-5-4-3-2. cylinder's 2-4-6 on right side
cylinder's 1-3-5 on left side.

parking brake light flashing in dash. what does this mean?

You have problem with your Rear Anti lock brakes. It has a code in the system. Try reseting the system. Unplug the black box next to the master cylinder for about a minute and plug it back in. Start it back up and see if the brake light is still flashing. If it is I'll post how to check it for codes.

Where is the ECM module located in the 1991 GMC Sonoma ?? I have removed all of the lower covers under the dash board and cannot seem to locate it ???

I am not posative but you might try looking behind the side kick pannels if its not behind the glove compartment where they are usually located. . Hope this is helpful

Usally when the clutch is bad, you still can shift gears. Check the slave cylinder or air in the fluid line. Good luck

Got kind of confused because I'm pretty sure the Sonoma didn't come out until 1992 but then again I could be wrong. Not perfect you know. Anyhow this is the firing order for the GMC 2.8 Liter engines from 90 - 93 (see picture below). I hope this is what your looking for and I hope it helps. good luck.

Firing order for a 1991 GMC Sonoma 4.3 liter v-6 is 1-6-5-4-3-2.

The number one plug is the first one facing you on the right and the last plug to fire is the first one facing you on the left. The rotor button spins counter clockwise.
