Then you likely have a leaking engine head gasket. To confirm this have a gas analyzer put into the coolant recovery bottle to test for the presence of combustion gases.

i think that has the module at the base of the collum if so you can bypass it and plug the harness to the switch its the delay module

id make sure the fuses and relays didn't pop for the starter while installing as if it was intstalled wit the battery still connected it could have arched it causing them to blow. then id make sure the battery was good and so was the alternator first thing. second, make sure all ur connections are good ie battery ground as well as wires on the starters solinoid.

starting with your left front its 1-3-5-7, 2-4-6-8 standing in front of truck the left front cyl is number 1, on the pasenger side of engine. remember leftside is 1-3-5-7 rightside is 2-4-6-8 an your distriberter cap has a 1 on it then just go clockwise with the numbers

You need to get your cooing system pressure tested, Unless you can see traces of coolant leaking somewhere external on the motor then is is most likely a head gasket issue.

You need to get under the vehicle and check the linkages where the lever attaches, you will find loose or broken linkages under there.

Sounds like maybe a loose bolt or broken bracket on the a/c compressor ???

Your clutch packs are burned up, you will have to replace the transmission, but you could try an additive first but they rarely work for very long.

check and make sure your choke wire is attached to choke. its on the passenger side of carb, round and usaully black. if fuel injected then could be bad throttle position sensor.
