What makes the temperature gauge go up?
First thing to check would be coolant level in reservoir, Rad hoses should be firm and not collapsing, look at radiator fins and make sure it is not plugged with debris and that there are no leaks or damage, make sure cooling fans are working.
If all looks good and no leaks are found it gets a bit more difficult,
faulty heat sensor or gauge, air in cooling system, stuck thermostat, worn water pump, bad intake or head gasket, cracked intake manifold, cylinder head or engine block. All listed could cause temp. gauge to go up.

Changed plugs 04 envoy still hesitant between 20&30mph acceleration after that is slow too. Any answers?????
Wires, distributor, rotor, vacuum leak, O2 sensors, air filter, fuel filter, bad gas. old gas. Throttle positioning sensor, fuel regulator, weak fuel pump, dirty throttle body. Knock out all of the routine maintenance items, check for codes at advanced auto(even if your engine light is not on) and then re-evaluate it from there. And clean your fuel system at your next fill up with a can of B-12 Chem Tool from the additives section at Walmarts auto section.

How do you get to the spark plugs
Take the aircleaner off. Disconnect the ducting into the throttle body, and remove the top plastic rectangular resonator. Your coils will be under this resonator. Remove each coil to get to the plugs. Recommend AC Delco 41-103 only on the I6's.

How do i fix it
Sway bar bushing, Ball joints and Strut Mounts make these noises. See if the ball joint have grease fittings then get them greased. Check if Control arm bushings have play and can they be pumped with grease. If Control arm bushings have play then change the complete Control arm which will be economical in the long run. Please check and get back to me with more information.
