poss. bad 02 sensor. you need to have it scanned for codes. on this engine the water comes out of the engine on the side of the block. you have to bleed the air out of this system. thats what the bleeder is for. the hose that fits there is where the water goes into the engine.

" HI " Where is the Voltage Regulator Located on a 2002 Dodge Stratus R/T 3.0
The way to check for an over or under charge is to connect your volt meter to the battery, before starting the vehicle.
You should have a reading of 12.5 to 13 volts. If it's 11.8 like you stated or less, it means battery is not fully charged, or it's bad. Now start the car & check voltage again while running the engine, the voltage should exceed 14+ volts, this means your Alternator is charging, the voltage should drop after battery has been charging for awhile. When you turn the engine off after letting it charge the battery, & if the battery is good, you should now have 12.5 volts to 13 volts.
Now to answer your question, the Voltage Regulator is inside of the Altenator, I believe you xcan take the alternator apart to replace it, or simpler to just replace the complete alternator.
What does the code P0446 onn a 2002 2.4l 4 cylinder Dodge Stratus SXT mean?
Generally in google search type obd2 then po446 or whatever and an obd2 site will come up w specifics for that code. Vehicle specific generally doesnt matter. http://www.obd-codes.com/p0446 typing odb2 before the code is important to find the right site. Refer to link for specifics or search using that format I suggested.
Why wont stratus start
seems like if it was getting fuel it would start. if it starts with fluid it should stay running if its getting fuel. also there are two different cam gears that come on these engines. if the wrong one is installed it wont start unless you unplug the cam sensor. make sure you have the right gear. if it dosnt look the same as the old one, its wrong. also check your engine vacum while cranking. if the vacum is low its a sign the timing chain is off the marks. your plugs would all be wet with fuel if it wont fire, check for this if above checks out
Stratus wont start
Do you get a code from OBDII? That should clue you to the problem, if you do. Does that one have a fuel return from the fuel rail? If not, you may have to bleed the fuel rail. Otherwise... it sounds like your injectors aren't firing. Has it had old bad gasoline in it?
Door doesnt open from inside
there is a rod that runs from the handle to the door latch mechanism. there is a nylon clip that holds them in position. if either is broken the rod pops out and the door handle wont work. the door panel must be removed to check and repair
Howfuse replacment dodge stratus
You should have mini blade fuses, you simply get a hold of the bad fuse with the factory supplied fuse puller, or if this is no longer still with the car a pair of needle nose pliers work great, and pull the fuse straight out. Simply push a new fuse of the same amperage rating back into the hole the bad one came out of.
