first check the spark plug gaps to make sure they are correct and wire condition also must be known(ex.) how old are they ? next if both are O.K. verify that fuel is getting to the throttle body you can use starting ether spray in the throttle body if the car starts then there is a fuel delivery issue/I know you said you here it working but there still could be something wrong(fuel pressure regulator)or the pumps locked up and didn't blow the fuse /but I don't think so/// if the car doesn't start after spraying then we have a sensor issue verify that the T.P.S (throttle position sensors voltage is correct through the range of movement most likely there is but we must check first before$$ if it's O.K. then what I originally thought was your problem is the culprit the Idle air control valve is N/G when they go they just quit altogether and this is most likely it, but you must understand that I'm not at the vehicle to check myself or know the condition of other components related to the starting system in your car so you must go through the checks of all before the $$$$$ spree starts & your still at square one below are photo's of the units I don't know which motor you have 3.0/3.8 so here's all of them incase you don't know what to look for (1) the 3.0 idle air then below it the throttle position sensor
now the 3.8 version here below we have the idle air control valve
and the throttle position sensor shown here they are similar in appearance but are not the same so check them and like I mentioned before you must evaluate the running condition of the engine before we go on a $$$$$ chase buying the wrong parts so if you can run down a check list here for yourself to know it would be very wise see below

(a) car in good running condition before the problem (b) tune up evaluation EX. plugs/wires condition (c) fuel delivery for sure/fuel pressure regulator--no bent lines from hitting or driving over big rocks or jumping the curbs also when you changed the fuel filter was clean fuel coming out of both sides or none at all when disconnected/if none the screen in the tank is clogged with dirt from a bad gas station post back with progress here and be specific to engine and what you have done so any one here is able to help you go further you can also say hey! Stephen and I'll know it's you I have to start a motor job today so be patient I'll get back to you
